Tomorrow I will start what I've been putting off all year. Am frightened to actually step on the scales tomorrow but I must do this, my goal is to be fit enough to run the London marathon in October.
Not sure yet what my approach will be but definitely less booze and more sensible eating.
I'd love some support to help keep on track if there are any others wanting to join me?

How are you all? I fell off the wagon in spectacular fashion yesterday. Biscuits, popcorn, white bread, oh dear. Back on it today and will have scrambled egg for breakfast, quinoa for lunch and possibly salmon for dinner.

Well I gave into the wine yesterday but fortunately food choices were ok. Am now trying to get motivated to do a workout.

I had a good day yesterday.
Haven't weighed this morning because I accidentally drank a massive cup of tea that was brought to me. It was such a lovely surprise, I totally forgot myself! 😂
Weather's a bit cooler today here.
I'm planning the same again, really. Yoghurt, fruit and a shake, sensible evening meal.
I've got a meal at a restaurant with drinks after on Saturday and a BBQ on Sunday that I'm going to have to negotiate. I know I'll be fine if I don't have an alcoholic drink but I'm so easily tempted!!

I had wine last night, but it was so nice to have a meal out with just dh.
I'm consistently doing over 10k steps a day so we had to walk a very long way home so I got my steps in! It's a lot harder without the school run.

I’m just going to have some porridge for breakfast then take the DC to the park for the morning so that will keep me out of the cupboards and from snacking!

Morning everyone!
I've remembered to weigh in this morning before my cup of tea!
I'm down 3.5 since Tuesday but that was after an overnight gain of 3 from Monday.
So, in total, I'm down 0.5! 😂

Well done to everyone who's done some exercise - I've been pottering round the house and walking the dog but that's about it.

Hello! Weigh in today and down 2lb. Was hoping for 3lb but happy all the same. Definitely wanting to reach for the biscuits now but going to make a healthy lunch. Going with spicy spinach and lentils today and sweet potato satay curry this evening with red wine.

Nearly the weekend! I drank loads of water yesterday, did my 10k steps but still need to get to grips with food overall.
It helps that we need to do a food shop, so I can grab salads etc. I need to make a meal plan for the weekend/week, then I stick to it.

I'm at that point on a Friday night, where I've had a nice meal, a couple of drinks and now I just need to not fuck it all up by starting to eat junk!

I've woken up on this sunny Saturday without a groggy head! I resisted the carb binge and I'm another pound down.
Quite impressed with myself, TBH!

Today will be harder. Going out to eat with friends and lots of drinks. Tomorrow could be a completely different story!!

Hi everyone!

It's gone a bit quiet on here. Hope you're all doing ok. Even if you haven't had a very good first week, please come back and try again!!

I've got a bit of a sore head. Many drinks were consumed yesterday! But I didn't have a midnight carb frenzy so that's my silver lining!

Today's BBQ outing is off, bloody COVID! So I need to get something from the shops for tonight. If I don't shop, it'll end up being a takeaway. 🤦‍♀️

I’ve had such a lovely weekend but have not eaten very well Blush I have walked a lot and I did an exercise video Friday and am hoping to do one tonight once the DC are in bed (although it will depend on the baby who is currently up around 1000 times per night at the moment Hmm). I am going to really knuckle down for the next couple of weeks leading up to our holiday. Hope everyone has had a good weekend Smile

Busy weekend, just back from a dog walk, 700 steps under 10k but I'm doing the bedtime walk so will be over by bedtime.
Still need to get to grips with the additional snacking this week.

I'm going to be honest, I'm struggling to get motivated. I'm feeling quite down at the moment and really just want to comfort eat. I have made lunch for the next couple of days, and breakfast, all in the fridge so hoping that helps me.

Hi everyone,
Well done on the exercise @LBB2020! I've only done 5000 steps today and a lot of those are from still being up past midnight last night!
I tried to log my calories for yesterday and guestimated 1000 for alcohol but I honestly have no idea!!
Anyway, today has been ok. Had a big salad with chicken, new potatoes, coleslaw and cheese for tea. We had a BBQ at home but I resisted the cheeseburgers and hotdogs everyone else was having (and the alcohol).
@LambLamb meal planning and prepping ahead is such a good idea. What have you made? I've been trying to do similar by ordering Gousto deliveries. Got one coming tomorrow so that's my evening meals from Mon - Thurs decided and calorie counted for me.

Anyone weighing tomorrow for a fresh start to a new week?

Although currently if I could lose half a stone before our holiday I would be delighted.
