Just to say, despite the "losing 1 and a half stone" thread going quiet, there's still a little band of us on there .

I'm going to stay on and carry on posting my weight loss/gain on a Tuesday.

I've also joined the "support for the long term slimmers" thread, as once I've got rid of 1 and a half stones, I have a lot more to go!

Will you keep going with me ladies on the original thread ?

yes of course. I'm going to have to do something drastic as my tummy is getting me soooooo down (well only when I look at it ) Plus with chrimbo coming up I want to look svelte...ish.

Hope you get a lot of support on the other thread Puff

PuffTheMagicDragon · 27/10/2004 13:29

yes, got the same problem with my tummy too juniper .

The fat is disappearing but it was at least scaffolding the skin. Same with my boobs!

ernest · 28/10/2004 10:52

oooh, I've never had a message before. I'm up for keeping up with it, even tho' I'm working hard for no reward!

Furball · 30/10/2004 20:08

Sorry peeps, I've only just read this. Been sooo busy the last few days, finally get an hour or so before the next stint of The X factor.

Yep, sure I'll still post weight loss on Tuesday, that suits me. Plus it's easier to keep track of everybody if theres only a few.

Probably be quite rubbish this week for me. I've been 'picking', nothing really outragious, but still it's been bad. So fingers, really crossed.

PuffTheMagicDragon · 31/10/2004 08:19

I'm going out for the second of two meals this week, so don't anticipating losing anything this week. If I stay the same I'll be happy.

OP posts:
ernest · 31/10/2004 11:43

i went out and got absolutely blind drunk last night, and stuffed my face with crips and sweets, and have woken up extra hungry, so stuffed my face again, so suspect this will be evry very bad on Tuesday

PuffTheMagicDragon · 01/11/2004 23:34

Not looking forward to weighing myself tomorrow. If I've stayed the same it will be a bloody miracle.

OP posts:
PuffTheMagicDragon · 02/11/2004 09:32

Put on a quarter of a pound.

No meals out this week, so must sort myself out.

OP posts:
Furball · 02/11/2004 10:04

1/4 lb Puff - wow what accurate scales you have. Did you see Little Britain last week? At Fat Fighters Majorie Doors told one lady she'd put on 4 gramms LOL.

Well I stayed the same, so I must get back on track again this week. Think thin, think thin, think thin........

ernest · 02/11/2004 12:40

I'm 63.6 - what was I last week? Have to dig up the other thread. puff, 1/4 lb doesn't count, honest.

ernest · 02/11/2004 12:43

oh, I was 63.1, so I've put on half a kilo. Not surprised I suppose, but it's a shocker that a couple of night's overindulgence & you slam all that on. Pity a couple of day's good behaviour isn't reflected in a similar loss. Why does it only work one way??

JuniperDewdrop · 02/11/2004 13:09

Suppose I'd better go and weigh myself. Trouble is I've been to Blackpool and ate for Britain
BRB..........

JuniperDewdrop · 02/11/2004 13:11

I've gained a pound Mind you I am wearing a very heavy jumper hang on............

JuniperDewdrop · 02/11/2004 13:12

Crikey it is heavy, I've lost one 11.6 now and think I was 11.7 last time.
But I've still got a heavy denim skirt on and these tights must weigh a bit.....

PuffTheMagicDragon · 09/11/2004 09:10

Hurrah - have lost 2lbs this week feel relieved.

How are you all doing?

ps - have just worked out that my bra weighs a quarter of a lb .

OP posts:
Furball · 09/11/2004 09:27

I've also lost 2lbs - so will join you in your HURRAH

ernest · 09/11/2004 10:59

I'm 63.1 again, so back to what I was 2 weeks ago, not brilliant, but better than a poke in the eye. i've sort of forgotten to keep trying, c'mom you lot, it's your job to motivate.

well done ptmd & furball, spill the beans, how'd you do it?

JuniperDewdrop · 09/11/2004 18:10

Oh heck is it that time already? Right I'm off to weigh myself but I'm not optimistic. Well done furrball and puff.

JuniperDewdrop · 09/11/2004 18:11

Stayed the same at 11 st 6. I didn't exercise this week though even though I said I would

JuniperDewdrop · 09/11/2004 18:12

You've still lost though ernest so well done to you too!
It's just me who needs a poke in the eye then

PuffTheMagicDragon · 09/11/2004 18:23

Yes ernest, you've still lost weight. That's brill .

I'm doing the Glycemic Index diet. I've also joined slimming world online for some extra motivation and the diet fits in well with what I'm doing already. Nice recipes too which I don't always make, but I like looking at!

OP posts:
Furball · 09/11/2004 20:02
