Welcome back.

FatCatThinCat · 27/02/2021 08:45

113.2 kg for me today. That's a 0.8 kg loss. Very happy with that after a bad start to the week.

morningtoncrescent62 · 27/02/2021 11:08

That's more like it, @FatCatThinCat! Congratulations on this week's loss. I'm so pleased to see @ShopoholicIn and @WobblyWhenIRun back again in what must be the hardest time of the year to lose weight. That's a lovely NSV, Wobbly. In the scheme of things it's the NSVs that really count - the things that mean our quality of life is improving, which is what it's supposed to be about, not just numbers on a scale.

I had an iced bun-shaped fall off the wagon earlier this week. I bloody love those sugary little devils and they were looking so tempting as I went past the bakery counter in search of my sober granary loaf that I succumbed. I bought four, telling myself I'd make them last at least two days but of course that didn't happen. They were gone before I'd been home for 20 minutes. Hopefully not too much damage done - I'll know at tomorrow's weigh-in.

ShopoholicIn · 28/02/2021 09:55

@fatcatthincat thanks that's a good weight loss.. keep it up..

@morningtoncrescent62 Thanks dear.. I had my influences this week again.. I eat when i am upset.. so one more reason to be cheerful .

Current weight is 82.6 (Bmi 26.9 )
Last week weight 84.3

yoyoing weight..

all the best to all the lovely ladies here

morningtoncrescent62 · 28/02/2021 12:52

End-of-week weigh-in and I'm exactly where I hoped I'd be! 10 stone, which is a loss of 6lb this month.

Start weight (March 2020): 15 stone
BMI at start: 35.8 (obese)
Clothes size at start: 22/24

Current weight: 10 stone
Current BMI: 23.9 (normal)
Current clothes size: 12/14

That means I'm at the bottom of my target weight range and I'm not going to try to get down any lower. In previous diets I've aimed at 9 stone, but to achieve that I have to feel like I'm in a battle against my body rather than doing something positive for my health and it's a horrible, obsessive way to live so I'm not doing it again. My long-term target now is to stay in the 10 stone - 10 stone 7lb range. Thanks to having introduced maintenance fortnights a few months back I have some rules and a plan to stick to. I'll keep going with the monthly weigh-ins, and go back onto weight loss plan if I exceed 10 stone 7lb until I'm back in the low 10s. I'm a lifelong yo-yo dieter and my relationship with food is disordered and addictive, so it's never going to be easy, but I feel a bit more positive this time around because of having a maintenance plan rather than just slipping into old ways and putting the weight straight back on again.

Well done on this week's loss, @ShopoholicIn.

ShopoholicIn · 28/02/2021 15:18

Wow @morningtoncrescent62 that's amazing.. lots of applause on your success in achieving your target that's really commendable..I am inspired... And a very good plan to know what suits you and how to continue with it now that you have achieved your target... Good going n keep inspiring us..SmileStarFlowers

FatCatThinCat · 06/03/2021 10:12

Well done @morningtoncrescent62 getting to your target weight is amazing. I can't even visualise that for myself as it's still so far away.

I've lost 0.3 kg this week which I'm really pleased with. I've had two binges this week through lack of sleep so was just hoping not to have gained. So to have a loss is amazing. On to the next week.

ShopoholicIn · 07/03/2021 15:20

Today's weight is 83.5, which is a gain of 0.9 kgs in a week...ConfusedSad

FatCatThinCat · 07/03/2021 15:55

Oh no @ShopoholicIn how disappointing for you. But it's done and behind you. This week will be better.

ShopoholicIn · 07/03/2021 18:01

Hope so @FatCatThinCat how are you doing?

FatCatThinCat · 08/03/2021 18:51

I had a bloody awful weekend. Didn't sleep well, didn't eat well. Put on a kilo as a result. Feckin cat looked like it was dying Friday evening so had that to worry about, then the extortionate emergency vet fees to worry about plus the 2 hour round trip to get there. Cat's now fine but I'm a wreck.

But it's done and today was better and tomorrow will be better too.

ShopoholicIn · 10/03/2021 15:54

@FatCatThinCat ohh no poor youFlowers.
I hope this week is better for you n your cat.. please don't worry about that extra weight , it's life n things happen.Brew

FatCatThinCat · 13/03/2021 09:55

0.4 kg loss for me. I'm happy with that as I was expecting a gain after the week I've had. I'm learning that I need to be kinder to myself when it goes wrong as it's not the end of the world.

How is everyone else doing.

ShopoholicIn · 13/03/2021 13:02

Hi @FatCatThinCat,
That's great. I was expecting a gain as well but have a 0.5 kgs loss. Hopefully this well will be better for you n me. 83 kgs now.
How's everyone else doing?

morningtoncrescent62 · 13/03/2021 22:26

Well done @FatCatThinCat and @ShopoholicIn. FatCat I hope your cat is fully recovered now.

FatCatThinCat · 20/03/2021 09:49

Up by 0.2 kg this week. Not too bothered as I spent yesterday in bed living off cake and biscuits thanks to post vaccination fatigue. Small price I'm happy to pay.

ShopoholicIn · 20/03/2021 13:11

Aww good for you @FatCatThinCat . hope you feel better soon.

I am disappointed today as i have gained 1.2 kgs and up from 83 to 84.2 though I did 30 minutes jogging at least 5 days this

ShopoholicIn · 20/03/2021 13:12
