Fast 800 - only a stone to lose

Morning all
I was just wondering whether anyone is done/has done Fast 800 with only about a stone to lose?

I’m 5ft5, as of today weigh 10st4.4 and still carrying 2-4lbs ish of baby weight (19 month old kid Hmm ) so I know not far off!

I have been wanting to lose a stone for years but have never managed to do it... pre pregnancy would go to gym 4x a week and eat well 80% of the time but just got into bad habits. I’m not normally a fan of crash diets etc but I feel like fast 800 is different and doesn’t fall into that category. After nearly a week I feel so much better, don’t really get hungry and eating such a variety of healthy food. I love it!

I’m just wondering what kind of results people saw on it with only a relatively small amount to lose?

Or could just make this a thread for motivation etc if anyone is in sane position as me! Feeling/being healthy is just as much of a motivation as losing the weight but shedding a stone would definitely make me feel better!

I've done that Michael Mosely 5:2 in the past and it did work for weight loss, it definitely worked!. But i felt like it was a lot of effort in terms of shopping and preparation and thinking and adding up.

As soon as I got to my normal weight I'd slowly put back on the stone!

Right now, I find it easier to address it at the half stone mark, and do ADF , ie, eat nothing at all every second day. The hunger is less when you eat nothing to be honest. So I find it easier to eat nothing at all than to wash, chop, weigh, prepared, calculate............. and come in under 800 cals.

I need to figure out what to do to maintain.

ps I know that different things work for different people and I used to ''diet'' every second day and that worked for me as well. Not as low as 800, but just maybe 1200 on a ''diet'' day and then relax within a healthy reason the next day. I might try and maintain that way.

Yep, I've been doing it for a while now. Lots of people say they find it good but the results are not as dramatic, time-wise, as for people with a lot to lose. I've liked doing it as it's not diet-y and my digestion feels better. It works well with my Crohn's disease. I've got a couple of kilos to go until I've ditched prednisolone weight I'm carrying.

ps, and I'm not fat, I'm just determined to be slim. Feel embarrassed to type that like I might be attacked for it but there you go.

There is a Fast 800 board on here that might be helpful.
