I'm going to try and ditch quite a few pounds and make myself more lovely again. I need a complete overhaul. Starting tomorrow obviously!

@GabrielleChanel hi! You should definitely avoid gin if it gives you cravings for chips! Gawd I could eat a whole bag of chippy chips drowned in salt and vinegar! If it wasn't late I'd put the oven on and cook some frozen ones.

Would intermittent fasting work for you? I don't eat after 6pm as I am a devil for eating my weight in chocolate or toast or lentil chips after 8pm whilst reading or watching tv. It has helped massively. I am hungry though but that's because my food intake has been appalling this last week. A typical day is breakfast around 9am. I have tea and toast with butter and jam. Lunch is crackers and Boursin cheese or fruit or rice cakes with peanut butter and jam. Dinner is orzo Greek Salad, or some other kind of pasta dish, or homemade soup, or homemade pizza and chips. On a bad day it might be muesli and yogurt. I have fruit or lentil chips as a snack but did have 2 emergency chocolate digestives today. I allow myself 1250 calories a day give or take. I'm trying to increase my activity levels and getting a Fitbit has been a huge motivator there. I don't drink apart from that one gin tonight (which has gone to my head Blush) drink 2-3 cups of tea a day and the rest of the time just water. I've been doing this a month now. I only got scales yesterday and am hovering around 66kg which isn't as bad as I feared. My aim is around 60kg which I will hopefully achieve by eating less and more healthily and getting more exercise. I use my fitness pal to log every single thing I eat or drink and have weighed things to be sure I'm being accurate. I'm still upset at how many calories are in the scraping of butter on my toast but I love my breakfast of tea and toast more than lunch so I cut back there if need be. I'm trying to up my protein intake as I'm carb and fat heavy. I've nothing against carbs, I just need to swap some fat and carbs for protein to have a more balanced diet.

I’ve made it down to 12st 12!!!

6lb down from initial weigh in which isn’t too much in a month but it’s great to get down to the next stone. Just got to keep chipping way (ahhhh....chips....!)

@Youngatheart00 we are almost weight twins! I'm 12.13 atm, started at 13.4. Still a way to go. Whats your goal weight? I need to get down to 11 4 for a healthy weight.

Today I've realised my skinny jeans are quite baggy 😀
I'm having to balance eating what's in the house with eating healthy as we may or may not be moving house in the imminent future.

My goal weight kind of has two parts to it. I need to get to 11st 7 to be at a healthy weight but I would love to get to 10st 7 as that is a really good, happy, fit and healthy weight for me! But it just seems so far off at the moment I’m trying to focus on goal A initially!! Smile

It's a good idea to do it in stages. It feels more achievable that way. My next goal is 10st. Then 9st 10lb, 9st 7lbs, then 9st 4lb. I am concerned about gaining weight once I stop restricting my intake but hopefully if I keep to my rule if not eating after dinner I should be ok. Once the dc are back at school I'll be back to walking 5 miles a day and cycling too which will help although exercise makes me hungry. It will be great to be in the 9stone bracket again. Oh how I remember the days of being 8st 2lb! I was still fat in my eyes though 🙄

Also I have done if and usually do with low carb but am very depressed at the moment and so trying to diet while also being kind to self. This is where I struggle

Low carb would be awful for me as a veggie and I love pasta and bread. I just eat less of them now.
My fridge has stopped working again Sad so it's ziti for dinner to use up the ricotta and mozzarella. I've had yogurt and muesli for lunch to use up some yogurt. I am looking forward to dinner. Ziti is my favourite pasta dish after lasagne. Homemade marinara sauce is the business.

Can't workout what to have for dinner today.
I had leftover quinoa with the broccoli , sweet corn and peas with some leftover chicken for lunch today.

I randomly took out chicken breast from the freezer this morning now unsure if to do a stir fry or a pasta bake Hmm - although I'm not sure how to make a pasta bake weight loss friendly.

I'm having a veggie chilli I froze in batches last time I was doing this 🙄 I don't have the recipe anymore but I've only had a yoghurt today so I know it's not going to hit my cal allowance.
The kids have had puffy, delicious pies for dinner with plenty of gravy, roasties and veg and I'm super jealous.

Ziti is loaded with calories but I work it into my daily allowance mainly. It's worth it.

Medium carving at the moment. And def trying fewer snacks. Tonight am going to have a bath and shave legs, May even soak off toe polish, too. Those things are so time consuming.

I'm over my allowance today by 300 but I needed to make up for being so crap and am now averaging 1003. The pasta was amazing and I even had a solero lolly for pudding. It's pizza and chips tomorrow and I can't wait. I often wonder if my death row meal would be lasagne, garlic bread, salad and chips, or pizza and chips.

Morning all. I've not weighed myself this morning as after the pasta it wouldn't be good news. Dd1 finishes year 8 today and we are celebrating with homemade pizza and chips and a film. Maybe some popcorn but I'll resist I think.

Unfortunately not been great on the exercise front these past few days. Did take DC on a couple of walks but that's about it.
But I'm just trying to be mindful of what I eat and come up with healthy foods that I enjoy rather than force bland stuff down.

Just had salmon with quinoa and vegetables for lunch (I feel like this is becoming a theme) and 2 coffees today. I'm not having anything else now as we are having fish and chips later to celebrate the end of the year for DC1.

Hoping to go for a long walk with DP and DCs tomorrow and maybe a longer brisker walk later on with Ddog.

I’m the other way round, exercise is going well but the eating is hit and miss. I just feel so hungry all the time! Plus work has been so busy and I haven’t found another ‘reward’ other than chocolate, crisps or wine, for when the working day is over. Weight is coming down because my meals are smaller and healthier, but I’m sure I could accelerate it.

Afternoon ladies.

Ah 10.7...that was my wedding weight and I felt great, not skinny just nicely slim and a size 12. At 13 stone I'm firmly in top end of size 14.

Well done to the loosers and welcome to the new joiners.

I couldn't do no carb either; I'm happy with smaller portions but LOVE bread and pasta. Which has got me into this mess!

Work today so have been sat at a desk for the past 9h, not great for exercise! But i did 10000 steps on a long walk with the buggy yesterday so not all is lost.

Hello, new joiners, and well done, losers.

I am plateauing and fed up. Dinner tonight is goose breast, butternut squash and spinach mash, and roast carrots. I need to lose another 16lbs to get to BMI of 25 which isn’t undoable except I just struggle to lose anything at the moment.

Just have to keep on trying.

I had an extra slice of pizza but in my piss poor defence I was really hungry Blush I'm just under 1500 today which isn't bad for a bad day I guess. Average is 1089 now so I was right to have the extra and bring that average up.

Do you all have a regular weigh day? Do you plot a graph or have an app do it or just note it down or memorise it? Fitbit is tracking mine for me. I'm debating having an official day that I plot via the app. I will monitor daily to keep an eye on things but try to assess weekly to get a better idea of a hopefully downward trend.
