I'm going to try and ditch quite a few pounds and make myself more lovely again. I need a complete overhaul. Starting tomorrow obviously!

Morning all. I had a lovely sleep last night and didn't want to wake up but it was 9am and ds wanted his breakfast. A rare lie in for me.
My stomach is suddenly a lot less bloated. Amazing seeing as the fybogel isn't workingBlush

By 'eck that pasta was bloody gorgeous tonight! I was very hungry and enjoyed it a great deal and had a small amount of seconds. I had a tin of pears for lunch so I could fully enjoy my dinner, needed the fibre and couldn't think of anything else. It is not a healthy pasta dish but is made with homemade tomato sauce, ricotta and mozzarella. No additives or preservatives, colourings, E numbers or things I can't pronounce. Accompanied with an iced pint of Guinness clear 🤣

Well, I had dominos pizza for dinner...we had my mum and dad over and we sat in the garden. It was a planned pizza though - I've been thinking about it all week - this is good as I'm really trying to think about what I'm eating a bit more. I had a small veggie with no cheese on it so all in all not too bad! And...my step count for today is 28,000 (I've done two 5 mile walks and a 20 minute youtube workout) so all in all I think I have done ok-ish, though I am definitely over calories. Hoping for a small loss when I weigh in on Monday morning.

I know I'm very late to join but can I ? I weighed myself today and im disgusted neither myself I need to lose 4 stone! I don't know where to start never been so fat and unfit . I've been working through all of this as a nurse but all the extra treats have not helped my waistline at all!

Hello @mrsswayae I completely understand how you feel. I weighed myself on Monday and nearly cried - I'm the heaviest by far I've been in my adult life. I've had a good week though (mostly) so feeling better - we can do this!

Good evening everyone.

I have just got in from work, had a moment of wrestling with myself over a slab of Cambozola Cheese .. I knew if I nibbled at it that would be it, cheese is like a drug for me. I can't easily stop once I start, I had to shit it away in the fridge and bust myself in another part of my clients house. Blush

I really fancy a large glass of red wine but I've just hit that 1 stone mark after a couple days after going up and down and I really don't want to go over again.

At the moment I'm mainly tired and could sleep but I must forage for dinner.

I'm trying portion control, exercise and some intermittent fasting. I'll know if it's working when I weigh in again on Wednesday!

Pasta for dinner tonight. Home made vegetable sauce with roasted tricolour peppers, onions, courgettes and fennel, with vegan meatballs and a wee sprinkling of vegan cheese (now that I've finally found a reasonably nice one!).

Welcome @mrsswayze I'm doing intermittent fasting. I'm sticking to 1200 ish on average and don't eat after my dinner which I eat between 5 and 6pm. I've not weighed myself at all as am too scared. I estimate about 11 stone. Aiming for 9st 4lb

@mrsswayze - I'm calorie counting, I worked out my TDEE and then worked out a deficit and stick to eating that amount of calories maximum a day (mine is 1220)
I don't do any formal workouts or anything but I do have a very active job as a community support and care worker. I personally try not to use my calorie allowance all up everyday and I also try not to use it on alcohol or sweets because I'm trying to eat healthier.
I make sure I drink a minimum of 3ltrs a day or water or sugar free very weak squash because I have a habit of letting myself forget to drink all day.

The weight is coming off, I had 4 stone to lose and I have lost the first stone reasonably quickly but it's now slowing down which is fine. I track with MFP.

I've had fat free Greek yogurt and fresh berries so far and made a pot of lentil soup. Will need to look into mfp when I get peace!

I’m trying to stick to around 1200 calories and just move a bit more at the moment. I’m hoping a stone will fall off as I’ve pretty much not moved at all in lockdown. I’m 11stone 2 at the moment (well I was on monday, will weigh in tomorrow). Goal I think is 9 stone 7 or there about. I think once I get to 10 stone ish I’ll have to put more effort in to losing so I’ll see how I feel. I’d love a new autumn wardrobe that I felt great in.

I find MFP really good! Twice this week I’ve had something In my hand and been just about to eat it (toast or bread both times) and I’ve thought about having to log it and given it to my boyfriend instead! It’s good accountability for me which really works.

I’m hoping for a loss of a couple of pounds tomorrow.

I did a short run today as part of a supposedly socially distanced thing. No one kept their distance and Dd1 flipped about it. The good news is that I didn't wobble like I thought I would and I didn't pee my pants either Grin
Shopping arrives tomorrow. Ive ordered Greek yogurt and granola, rice cakes, red pepper hummus and plenty of fruit. Granola is not great on the sugar front and hummus is high fat but I need the protein. I've managed to find a granola without seeds thank goodness. I don't mind them but in my opinion they don't go with everything else in the mix.

@mrsswayze I shifted over a stone using MFP and sticking to 1200cals a week (most of the time) and a bit of running 3x a week for a bit and then home YouTube HIIT workouts anything from 20min to 40min ones usually aiming for 4 a week.
But now my weight is lower my calorie requirements have dropped too and I would have to go down to 710cals to lose the same amount a week Hmm

So now I'm trying to really clean up my diet, absolutely no sweets/crisps mon-fri (I was working them into my calorie allowance up until now) meal planning for lean protein, lots of veg, small amount of carbs. Fish 3x a week. Long walks with Ddog and carry on with the workouts. Hoping to shift another 5ish kg.

I'm down another 3lbs from Monday. I really feel like I'm getting somewhere.

I have started to adopt my old strategies of moving more form when I used to count steps religiously, which sounds like something from a cheese lifestyle magazine but I make sure every little journey is more active than it needs to be, I take extra trips up the stairs everyday to put things away or to speak to the kids rather than calling up from the bottom.
I walk the long way to the shop, go to the second closest post box etc.
I don't count steps anymore because I lost my Fitbit.

Well done!

I weigh a whole pound less today than last Monday, having put a pound on. I actually can’t do much more than I’m already doing so I’m in despair really. No booze, no sugar, pretty much no carbs, not much fat. Intermittent fasting, plenty of water. I’m hoping I’m in line for one of those sudden big losses or my body just hates itself.

I've got fruity muesli and Greek yogurt for breakfast. It's vile. The yogurt needs sugar or maybe a fruit compote type thing. I measured it out and the portion is tiny. Good job. No one would want to eat a large portion of this Envy

I weighed in this morning at just under 10 stone 9 so I’ve lost 8lb! Caveat that I have probably moved more this week than in the last 10 combined (no exaggeration) so really I’m just getting back to my pre lockdown weight, which is my starting point I guess! But I’m feeling happy with the week I’ve had and motivated for this one!

I've just ordered some scales 😱 they sync with the Fitbit app to track trends. Being an all or nothing person I'll have to weigh every day or never. Every day lessens the anxiety as there can't be big jumps up. Of course big jumps down aren't possible either but slow and steady is best.
My breakfast was truly grim 😔

@Bercows sounds weird but my DCs and DP love to use the Aldi baby fruit pouches in their yogurt Grin the favourite is the berry but they like banana too. It's literally just puréed fruit and quite convenient.

DP would usually have Greek style yogurt, chia seeds, maybe a few nuts, some of the purée from the pouch. If he's feeling fancier he will just put frozen berries on top.

Not sure about cals but he says it's lovely - yogurt isn't my thing so I wouldn't know.

Also jumbo oat porridge with a banana mixed in for sweetness whilst it's cooking is a favourite in our household. Again usually with chia seeds, a small dollop of almond butter and frozen berries.

Rice cakes with peanut butter and blueberry jam for lunch. 282 calories for flavoured cardboard 😩 The PB is protein though at least. I really need to improve my protein and decrease my carbs.
