I'm going to try and ditch quite a few pounds and make myself more lovely again. I need a complete overhaul. Starting tomorrow obviously!

@AwkwardMoment2020 that looks painful. When I broke my toes I was going for a wee during the night, it was dark and didn't realise that the bathroom door was shut and kind of just smacked my foot into the closed door. I went to the hospital as my toes were all pushed out of place. When I got back home, I walked straight into the flag stone hearth with my already poorly foot. I think it was only really bad for about three days before I could put shoes back on.

Strap it to your big toe to give it some stability. Put some cotton wool between the toes. Take ibuprofen with food, ice it and rest.

Thanks so much for the advice, will strap it up now and take some more ibuprofen. It is that kind of pain that after a while makes you nauseated.

On another diety princess note - chocoholics...chocolate snack a jacks really helped take the edge of a chocolate craving just now. They’ve got little choc chips in them and are quite big. Only 2 smart points for anyone on WW.

Weighed myself the other day and found I was 13st 4lb...which is almost in the obese category for my 5 ft 7 height. I last weighed this when I was 7 months pregnant Shock last lost weight before TTC 4 yrs ago and got down to 11 stone 7, which was a comfortable/okay weight for me. Wedding weight (5 yrs ago) was 10 7 and I had to do silly things like diet shakes to get there. So I'd like to go from 13 4 to 11 11, or 1.5 stone loss.

Started last week with logging on MFP and trying to stick to around 1400 cal a day. Made me realise how much I was eating, probably double that!

Day 10 now and I've lost 2lb 2oz. Really pleased with that as was aiming for 1lb a week. Its spured me on to keep going. I try to eat between 9am and 6pm and fast for the remaining 15h (no snacks after dinner, we eat with our 3year old at 5.30). Allow myself what I want within the calories, but very mindful that a bar of chocolate and bag of crisps will take up as much as a decent lunch would, so I've made relatively good choices.

Hi @UnicornAndSparkles glad that you are joining us.

I started logging all food and drink on Monday and it has really opened my eyes. I can really see how I've become fat. I worked out that the old me was eating at least 1500 calories a day just from chocolate each evening, plus all the other junk that I was constantly shovelling in my face all day long.

Despite the positive weigh in this morning I’ve now had a set back. Went out for a run but only managed a mile as I’m now so f*cking fat that my kit rides up and no one needs to see my massive jelly belly. Impossible. Can’t afford to buy a whole new load of kit. Could cry, how will I improve? Think I’m going to have to stick to YouTube workouts in the garden until I’ve lost enough and can actually leave the house without feeling like I’m exposing myself.

😭 so angry with myself for getting this way

@Youngatheart00 I have no clue what running kit looks like but could you not just put a baggy tee shirt over the top to cover you up a bit if you are feeling self conscious at the moment. You are a star for doing something positive. You must be feeling bad still after those wankish lads taking the piss yesterday so please don't give up. 💐💐💐

Yes it was me with the wankish lads on Tuesday!! So with the two combined I’m feeling pretty self conscious. Think I’ll have to get one of DH’s T-shirt’s which will be pretty sweaty but at least hide my body.

Once I get paid I’ll treat myself to some new kit.

Hi everybody,
Actually just made a separate post. I'm 8 months postpartum and just honestly feel disgusting. I feel like a fat frump and just so uncomfortable. I want to lose a stone. I'm currently 12stone 1 pound and haven't managed to lose any weight since March. Just need a push in the right direction. I'm 30 but feel like I'm 90. Still wearing a tatty bra from like 4 years ago. Also have a 2 year old so don't really have any time for myself. X

I know many of us feel disgusting but we are not disgusting. We are human, and beautiful, and individual, and more than the physicality of our bodies. Our bodies bear the brunt of life and have gone and are doing amazing things. We need to nurture ourselves instead of beating ourselves up. We are human and we are trying to rectify some of the negative effects that life has had on us. But we should be proud of ourselves for wanting to change but also proud of our bodies and what they have achieved so far. We are more than our love handles, our muffins tops, our back fat, our wobbly bits that jiggle when we exercise, our less-than-toned pelvic floor, our stretch marks and our verandas over our toy shops. We are women, beautiful yet flawed, and we deserve to love ourselves because we should not let the critical eyes of society impact on how we see ourselves or let them judge us and find us wanting so that we judge ourselves in the same way. We aim to be healthier, to fit into our clothes more comfortably, to be more toned, less wobbly, but our beauty is not defined by this, nor is our worth.

Morning all fellow loser princesses (as in losing weight not ‘loser loser’! Grin

Started the day with an online bums and tums class, only 25 mins but I felt the burn! And just painted my toenails.

Am looking forward to an active and healthy (ish) weekend (albeit we may get a curry tonight - will just try and choose well - and no starters!)

God I'm hungry this morning! Proper empty feeling and feeling a little sick. I've made my second cup of tea to see if that helps. Removing at least a quarter of my daily calorie intake is likely to make me feel hungry so I'll just push through until I get used to eating less.
I've got a zoom meeting later so I've put some make up on and dried my hair. My skin has seen a vast improvement since lockdown and I am spot free with healthy looking skin.

I'm feeling really hungry today and a little sick from hunger. I will have some lunch soon, trying to hold out until 1 o'clock.

I've walked the dog and deep cleaned the bathroom. I feel tired and fed up.

On the plus side, I'm on day five of being pretty good. Hopefully will see a loss on the scales on Monday.

Dd2 has made shortbread 😩 I've had a tiny square. An apple and 2 babybels for lunch and lots of water. I did eat a biscuit this morning with feeling so yuck.

Ahhh I love shortbread! I say enjoy it!

DH has made bread rolls...really want one! I've got the calories spare as haven't had much all day so might be tempted by half a one.
