Ha ha Fab yes, my 'proper Vegan' friend despairs of me, but I can't ditch the skimmed milk 🤣 There should be a special category for us nearly-theres! 😂

diege · 09/07/2020 22:57

Actually I think it's 'vegetarian' 😆

diege · 09/07/2020 22:57

Queenoftheashes · 09/07/2020 23:12

Lacto vegetarian?

diege · 09/07/2020 23:56

Yes, that's it! 🤣 Only cream eggs consumed here!

Fabulodosus · 10/07/2020 07:27

🤣 I eat honey too as I've had bees for years and still steal a bit from them! It's much easier being a vegetarian rather than a vegan when the rest in the family eat meat!

1.5lb off here so back to where I was 3 weeks ago! 👍

JonHammIsMyJamm · 10/07/2020 08:45

Hi all. Long time, no see (post). I’m still loosely PTCEDYFBing with a view to maintaining having had a disheartening time trying to lose. I weighed this morning for the first time in a good 3 weeks and I’m 9st 13lb. So I’m still hovering around the same weight.

I’m still running a couple of times a week and I’m adding yoga in a few times a week to help as a form of cross training and toning. I also like the calming side of it. I was doing Pilates but I’m not finding it that helpful and prefer yoga.

I’m not a special dietary person, I’m an old fashioned omnivore. Grin

Fabulodosus · 10/07/2020 09:08

Morning!

Yoga sounds great... I used to go at the gym but this household is way too noisy to bother trying! 🤣

Fab! 😃

JonHammIsMyJamm · 10/07/2020 11:13

Ah, it’s only the Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube. I do it in the bedroom whilst dinner is cooking. Nothing fancy, @Fabulodosus.

MrsSnitchnose · 10/07/2020 13:06

Good to hear from you Jon Not putting on I feel is always an achievement

How are we all getting on? I'm limping to the end of term here, trying to avoid all the sweets and biscuits in the staff room. Planning a run tomorrow after work, didn't get home in time today. Food been ok, nothing to get excited about!

Queenoftheashes · 15/07/2020 12:35

Frustrated as usual - whenever I lose I gain it back the next day and it’s a constant bloody battle
I need to run today as well. I’ve got the clothes on so that’s the majority of the battle ...

MrsSnitchnose · 15/07/2020 15:33

I think I'm in for a sts again this week. It's time of the month and I've been hungry.

I make sure I get into my workout gear as soon as I get up Queen, once I'm in it, it's not like there's any excuse for me to not do it. Just hoping I can have the same momentum come September when I'm back at work and having to workout in the evening

OP posts:
Queenoftheashes · 15/07/2020 20:06

Yes snitch I def think if I stick the gear on I’m about 50% more likely to actually do something! Fingers crossed for September. I’m so bad at working out in the evening - I have to book and pay for classes or I don’t go.

Fabulodosus · 15/07/2020 21:02

Awful week... not sure I can bear to get on the scales in the morning! 🙈
I've done my calf in again... obviously didn't leave it long enough to heal before running so I'm totally frustrated plus being snowed under with work... fighting the urge to eat chocolate!!

diege · 15/07/2020 22:47

Ill be lucky to STS tomorrow 😩 Haven't been too bad, but have crept over the MFP calorie line too many times this week!

OwlinaTree · 16/07/2020 07:57

I've lost 1lb, very pleased with that!

diege · 16/07/2020 09:44

Well done owl!
STS for me, which I'm also very pleased about!
DP has been watching the calories for a week after his shock weigh-in and has lost 6 pounds!!! 🤣

Queenoftheashes · 16/07/2020 12:41

One off here. I’m annoyed as I’ve been eating less, eschewing gluten and taking alli!
But .2 off a stone now so it’s good really.

MrsSnitchnose · 16/07/2020 12:47

I have a paid for app subscription Queen If I don't do it, I lose my streak and waste my money so it's a good incentive!

Contrary to my assumptions yesterday, I've actually lost another pound! No idea how that happened.

Well done on the losses

OP posts:
LimeJellyforBrains · 16/07/2020 16:13

Another 1lb off for me, I'm delighted Grin

That's 10 whole pounds I have lost since we started! Once again I would like to thank you all, without this thread and the lovely camaraderie on here I couldn't have done it. I cannot remember the last time I lost weight, it's been upwards only for some years now.

It's a shame I can't really see any difference yet, but then I did start from my heaviest, so will still be a while until I am able to fit back into some clothes I was wearing before I got so big. But of course with every pound off I look into the mirror expecting to see myself suddenly looking slim! Grin

Lovely to see you back @JonHammIsMyJamm x

MrsSnitchnose · 16/07/2020 21:36

That's brilliant Lime! I bet you would see a difference if you'd taken some pictures at the start. Seeing ourselves every day means changes take longer to become apparent

OP posts:
Queenoftheashes · 16/07/2020 22:46

Definitely started to see a difference at ten pounds or so (I’m short) but it really does take bloody ages !

Well done on results everyone!

OwlinaTree · 19/07/2020 20:44

Hi guys, how is everyone's weekend going? End of term here so a bad weekend food wise! Pizza and gin on Friday night, and prosecco and Chinese takeaway Saturday night! Delicious but way off plan! Have got back on the wagon today food wise and been for a long run which will hopefully help.

OwlinaTree · 20/07/2020 10:06

I've decided to try to do a plank challenge over the summer holiday. Just done day 1.
