JontyDoggle37 · 30/01/2020 19:38

@JessJonesJumps step away from the tub and the cupboards.thats it, back away slowly, remove yourself from anywhere where there is food and Either go for a long walk or do star jumps in front of the tele! 😁 The good thing, you’ve recognised these are a trigger. So now they can go on the ‘don’t get bought in our house’ list and you can avoid them going forward. Tomorrrw will be better Flowers

JessJonesJumps · 30/01/2020 20:13

Jonty great minds - I'm just back from a walk! It was too cold to make it a very long walk but it did take me away from the empty tub Grin The other place I went wrong this morning was by eating breakfast. I don't usually eat till 11am but because I had DS home ill, I had breakfast with him at 8.30am. The earlier I start eating, the worse it always is for me.
I do a small vision board in my work diary/bullet journal at the start of each month. For Feb, I'll need to add a photo of the M&S tubs with a big strike-through Smile

recklessgran · 30/01/2020 20:59

@JessJonesJumps I absolutely get it about eating early. I can't do that either and try not to eat before 12. New day tomorrow and a clean slate the day after for all of us with the February thread.
@JontyDoggle37 I'm sorry you're not well and impressed that you're even trying when you've been so unwell AND on steroids. You're awesome.
Another busy day here but I managed OMAD and had the meat element of the cottage pie with brussels and runner beans, followed by sugar free jelly and 2 squares of chocolate. Drank a lot more water today too but steps a shameful 1090 on account of another desk bound day. Ought to go for a walk but honestly can't be bothered. Determined to make up for it tomorrow [my day off] and over the weekend.

Ihatesundays · 30/01/2020 22:10

Totally had a PMT 24 hours. Been starving...
So I’ve signed up to RH Fitness, already struggling to get my protein up.
Was heavy this morning but it’s all water weight anyway so I just ignore... won’t be able to properly weigh in until Sunday/Monday now.

MotherOfDragonite · 30/01/2020 22:14

Well done @cricketmum84 -- that's super impressive and gives me hope! I really need some accountability so feeling like this thread will be helpful.

MotherOfDragonite · 30/01/2020 22:16

Wow, @Somesortofzilla -- an amazing loss! That's inspirational.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 30/01/2020 22:40

Can I join you? I really need to lose 4 stones and need some motivation!

ploughingthrough · 31/01/2020 02:52

The day has begun here in Asia so I've done my final weigh in for Jan finishing up at 69.7kg. I've lost just under 6kg so I'm delighted with this of course. I know at the beginning there is some water weight so I wouldnt lose anything like that in Feb but hope to achieve 2-3kg in February.
Thanks for all the support on this great thread.

DownUdderer · 31/01/2020 06:20

I went out for a walk\hike but I felt zonked, I think it's really humid and that's my excuse!

KedsAndTubeSocks · 31/01/2020 06:36

SW 76.6 kg
EW: 71.6
Start waist measurement: 87cm
End waist measurement: 84 cm

5 kg weight loss, 3 cm off my waist. I'd have liked to have lost more off my waist, but overall I'm happy with that!
Now I'm going to have today and the weekend off, before starting back on Tuesday.
Thanks for the support everyone!

KedsAndTubeSocks · 31/01/2020 06:39

Well doneploughing!

cricketmum84 · 31/01/2020 06:45

Good morning! Happy Friday and happy last day of January!

I will get Feb thread set up later today ready for tomorrow morning!

Another 1lb off this morning. 3lbs in total for the month but because I've been so up and down this month I've actually lost 6lbs in 2 weeks so I'm feeling hopeful that things have started to move in the right direction again. Final weigh in tomorrow morning so who knows maybe another little loss to finalise January!

Plan for today is:

B - satsumas and black coffee (I'm so tired!!)
L - skipping and just having a portion of melon
D - Chinese takeaway, we have a local one that does vegetarian chicken and duck so will pick something in a light sauce with plenty of veg and not have rice or noodles with it.

@SunsetBoulevard3 welcome!

Have a great Friday!

Amazing loss @ploughingthrough

Egghead68 · 31/01/2020 07:28

Some great losses!

I’m finishing the month on 64.8kg so 0.5kg down from Jan 1st. At least it’s not a gain!

Plan:
B: Greggs apple danish 420
L: Salad 280
D: Sandwich 520
Circuits and spinning

NerrSnerr · 31/01/2020 07:50

Sorry I have been off the radar. I had far too much wine on Friday and had the worst hangover for years so have been quiet.

Weight loss for the month is 7lbs exactly so I'm really pleased. I will be back for February to try and get another 7lbs off which means I'll get under 11 stone.

Well done to everyone this month for all losses.

recklessgran · 31/01/2020 09:01

Morning all. Wow, there are some impressive losses on here. Well done to all of us! That's the worst month of the year over with at last. This is such a great thread @cricketmum84 - thank you.
Today is my day off so I'm out shopping with g/f and pub lunch. Will try to be good about it. My weight has been hovering around the same since Monday so I think I'm going to have to start looking at calories and perhaps do more OMAD in order to keep going down in a meaningful way. I seem to stay the same for about 5 days and then get a pound or two drop. I can see the pattern in my diary where I'm recording my daily weight and food intake. It's interesting - like my body is fighting to hold on to the weight. Mmm.I'll have a think what to do.
Welcome to the thread @sunsetboulevard3 I'm sure you will find all the support you will need here. Start of the new month tomorrow and I for one am looking forward to the new thread.
Waving to @Somesortofzilla KOKO!

beforeIhit30 · 31/01/2020 09:24

Checking in for the Feb thread link update and will check in properly later! Have been quiet for a while (busy stuff), but have kept on track (yay!).

MsTSwift · 31/01/2020 09:27

Haven’t posted much as lost what I wanted! All about maintaining now. Still intermittent fasting and not snacking on crisps choc and biscuits. Keep a broad tally in my head try not to go above 1,200 but then can relax for event meals like meals out etc by skipping other meals that day. So not a diet but new habits

MsTSwift · 31/01/2020 09:29

My high point was buying new saloupettes. Last year I was popping out of borrowed size 16. I ordered 12 online. Too big! Had to go to shop and swap for a 10. That was a good day

Onesmallstep67 · 31/01/2020 09:55

Morning.
Jan SW: 15st 11lbs
EW: 15st 3lbs
I won't be able to weigh tomorrow as we are away overnight. Travelling to Surrey, due to hit M25 at around 6pm ! I must be mad.
Well done everyone on surviving January and some great losses. Onwards and downwards Wink

Tryingtwo · 31/01/2020 10:09

Good morning, those are impressive losses ploughingthrough and KedsandTubeSocks. Waves hello to SunsetBoulevard3. Nice loss NerrSnerr and congrats for staying on track beforeihit30. Hope you enjoy your lunch and shopping recklessgran. Hitting your goal weight and dropping 3-4 dress sizes is truly impressive MsTSwift good luck with maintaining but it sounds like you've got a good plan for that.
I had to check back for my January start weight which was 14st 1.2lbs, current weight 13st 5lbs a loss of 10.2lbs which is more than I thought so I'm happy. Also 13st 5.2 was one of my targets as it meant I have now lost 20% of my start weight (plus 0.2lbs Grin).

beforeIhit30 · 31/01/2020 10:25

@Tryingtwo that’s a fabulous loss! Well done!

Right, got a bit more time so going to do a proper check in Grin

Lost 6.2lb this month - yay! Very happy with that. I am now 11.2lb away from my primary goal, which is to be my pre-pregnancy weight (a healthy weight for me and happy with appearance). After that I think I will gradually look to move about another 5lb down to put me firmly into a comfortable place health-wise but not rushing there.

Total loss since I started (mid-Sep) is 23.4lb Shock it hasn’t felt hard which has been the main thing, so it’s all part of returning to a normal way of eating after 9 months of hyperemesis Confused

I’ve also - FINALLY - started exercising. Started this week and just off now to do today’s before DC3 wakes up!

JessJonesJumps · 31/01/2020 13:26

Well done everyone! What amazing losses! You are all Star s!
I didn't get the chance to weigh this morning because my scales had an odd error message. Perhaps that's a sign I should buy the magic BMR/water ones. I'll just need to weigh tomorrow instead. And I will try to be good today after my choc/rice/caramel fest yesterday.

KedsAndTubeSocks · 31/01/2020 15:55

I'm not enjoying my day off as much as I'd hoped. I think my tastes have changed. I had a scone with cream and jam earlier, and now I just feel queasy. Sad
