Sorry for the self indulgent thread but I've finally had enough.

This time next year I'll turn 40 and I don't want to be fat and 40!!

This time next year I want to be a healthy BMI and a clothes size that I feel comfortable in.

Anyone want to join me?

Ah @Crunchymum and @Ihatesundays we have the same date to aim for..... 45 weeks to go!!

I know Ihatesundays, I first joined WW when I was just over 11st and wanted to lose a stone. I would be Shock if I'd known then that I'd ever be heading for 14 stone!

I have DTs Crunchymum, they are 3.5 and very hard work. I just don't have the energy to keep up at the moment Sad I think the saying is that weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise? Could be wrong, but I know diet is the majority of how we lose weight, exercise is just helpful.

Welcome @Countdowntofitandforty! Are you following a 'diet plan' (WW/ SW/ something else) or just making some general changes?

No loss for me this week (sigh), but its still 8lb in 4 weeks.

I need to watch myself as this is the point o normally "give up"

I'm off to in laws (big garden so kids can use the paddling pool and I can chill). Ice taken my own lunch and a diet coke I will abstain from the Prosecco I'm taking for them

Feel pretty demoralised, and I've just put on a size 18 tent and don't want to even leave the bedroom.

Well done on your 8lb anyway @Crunchymum and I hope you didn't feel tooooo bad yesterday. I was in shorts and a flowery top and still looked chunky but realised that no-one (apart from me) cared anyway Grin

I lost another 1lb this week - 5lb down, 45 to go.....

Did you resist the Prosecco? I would have loved a glass of that last night! In the end I settled for a Fevertree ginger beer. Which was nice, but not Wine Wine

DP is still going on and on and on about his gluten free diet and how much weight he's losing on it. Well yes he is, but only because I do all the planning/ shopping/ cooking for our meals, he has no idea what to make! And I'd listen to him a bit more if he wasn't off on a stag do next weekend to drink his body weight in sambuca and eat loads of crap Angry

No loss again this week.

I'm teetering on the edge of fucking it all off? I'm definitely having a day off today WineCake

Ah sorry to hear that @Crunchymum. I lost 1lb this week - trying to tell myself that slow and steady is the best type of weight loss, and not thinking about the fact that it will take me the best part of a year to lose all my lard at this rate!!

Hope you feel better/ more motivated soon (but enjoy the Wine and Cake in the meantime!)

Crunchymum · 13/07/2019 08:59

Woo hoo.... I've finally lost 1lb this week

So -9lb in total now

Well done @Crunchymum!!

I've been losing a pound or so a week but this week I've put on a pound..... sigh. Think it's due to AF arriving - horrendous pain and tiredness today Sad

I shall keep at it as we go on holiday in a fortnight and I am at last starting to properly fit into some of my summer clothes!!
