I have been Really Really Bad

I got home yesterday after spending a few days looking after a friend who has just had an op and can't lift her dd, and was paid in wine and chocolate

Thing is, i generally beat myself up about the binges afterwards

And me.

I used to go into autopilot as I shopped for food to binge on - I'd get home and wonder how I ended up with all that food in my bags - but now I don't; I beat myself up as I plan a binge, I beat myself up for shopping for it, I beat myself up as I'm eating it, I beat myself up afterwards.

And then a couple of days later I go and do it all again.

Sometimes it's every day. It has been for the last week and a half. You would be disgusted at the amount I've eaten.

If I keep eating like this it will end up killing me. But even that's not stopping me.

Erm, just no major targets during half term, though - limited achievement only possible at half term. Could aim for improvement in mood and being nice to self? Anyone else on for that?

We do a bit, don't we Fauve. And yes - being nice to ourselves (preferably in non-food ways) during half term would be good.

I haven't exactly been hiding but forgot to weigh (probably because I knew I hadn't lost) and had an MN meet up at my house last night (am I mad?) so was a bit overwehlemed with cleaning and stuff.

I should do the weight but haven't the energy (blame the west London crowd) yet

I might get round to doing the weights later Kewcumber. You're definitely very brave having a meet-up at your house - I think the West London group has quite a lot of people, doesn't it.

Have just finished mowing the lawn and doing a bit of weeding. Also had a free air display, including some fighter planes and the Red Arrows, who were performing at an air show near us. We considered going, but a family ticket cost £60 so we decided against it. And we could see loads from the fields just behind our house, so taht worked well.

there were 14 of us - for some reason all standing in my (not particularly big) kitchen most of the night. They tried to stay and help tidy up but as it was midnight I threw them out so I could go to bed!

The gherkin thing did occur to me too

What is it about kitchens, eh. Hope you've recovered now.

OK - this week's weights. Not a lot of people signing in , so it didn't take very long to do:

Whoopsfallenoveragain: -5 (total -17)
agalch: -.5 (total -25)
JackieNo: -.5 (total -.5)
EllieG: stayed the same (total -1.5).

So an enormous sparkly crown for whoopsfallenoveragain, and a kick up the bum to the rest of us.
