Sorry girls

OP posts:
MrsJohnCusack · 15/02/2007 22:18

PLEASE keep me off the nannies thread. PLEASE

and stop me reading sad news stories - am having enough trouble sleeping at night as it is.

oh bras - all the sizing is different here. No idea how I'm going to find a feeding bra, don't think my norks are going to reach the mammoth proportions of last time as they haven't actually grown at all this pregnancy

MrsJohnCusack · 15/02/2007 22:19

well done weight losers. Dotty - bet you see that weight loss next week. Annoying though

am PMSL at CheesyFeet's DH. I bet he was thrilled with himself

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:24

Dottydot - that'll be because you're building muscle from the running - weighs more than fat, but takes up less space, so you'll still be getting slimmer.

MrsJC - I saw the very beginning of the nannies thread, but have been avoiding it ever since. Am surprised to see it cropping up still.

Is it just me, but I had a read down all the thread titles in active convos and thought they mostly sounded like wind-ups? In fact, I hope they are - lots of bad stuff happening otherwise. I didnt' realise Nutcracker had gone, missed all that. But on the brighter side, it's good to see FrannyandZooey back.

suejonez · 15/02/2007 22:27

bollocks it will Dotty - Jackie is just being nice to you - you didn;t lose weight this week because God wanted to make the rest of us feel better after your 5lb last week.

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:28

Don't say that sue - she's premenstrual - she could do anything .

suejonez · 15/02/2007 22:29

and could the PMT also explain liberal use of ?

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:31

I think it might. Over-emoticonisation is a classic symptom, dontcha know.

MrsJohnCusack · 15/02/2007 22:31

I've got to stop coming on here
Keep composing long replies that just get ignored - why am I wasting my time?
I can't sleep either. I am LOSING IT BIG TIME

gah bleeding hormones

suejonez · 15/02/2007 22:34

Noooooooooo don't stop coming.

Ignore the nanny thread it is populated with two tyes of people - those who have a problem with anyone who is fat who aren't going to be convinced otherwise and reasonable people who don't respond because what you say is so obvious to them.

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:35

Step away from the nanny thread, MrsJC. Not long to go now, with any luck.

Shall I distract you with tales of how well DS's potty training is going?

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:36

Oh yes - and obviously don't you dare stop coming on here.

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:37

We need you for loads of things, not least of which is your style advice (still haven't got round to buying fishnets yet, but fully intend to).

MrsJohnCusack · 15/02/2007 22:39

no I won't stop coming
But I am working myself up into a frenzy. I can't STAND this part of pregnancy and I have this audition on Tuesday and I am just demented at the moment.

BTW my blood pressure is exemplary this pregnancy which has made me feel better as last time I decided it was becoming high/pre-eclamptic because I was a bloater.

In fact I am now one of the midwife's star pupils and am now going to try to have a water birth and help her out by having her student at the birth etc. Makes a change from being treated as high risk nightmare last time.

(watch it all go tits up now I've tempted fate saying that )

suejonez · 15/02/2007 22:41

Have you though of going all the way MrsJC if you going to go all fancy and have a water birth and stidents etc and have a webcam set up so we can follow progress?

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:42

I think it is the very worst part of pregnancy - when you're so uncomfortable, which you've got even worse, you poor thing. And just longing for it all to be over.

So you're hoping it will all kick off on Tuesday evening, I guess.

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:43

Ooh - the first MN on-screen birth. Now that really would be a first.

MrsJohnCusack · 15/02/2007 22:43

ooh glad to hear the potty training is going well

here I have mentioned to DD that perhaps it would be a good idea to poo in the potty some time - just to get her used to talking about it

she just replied 'nooooooooooooooo'

so I think we'll leave it a bit

suejonez · 15/02/2007 22:45

D will sit on a potty quite nicely - I think he just thinks its a nice litle seat which fits him snugly. He beams when he sits on it!

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:45

Yes - DS was a bit like that, even right up to the time I decided that we'd go for it. But he's been brilliant. We've had maybe 3 accidents, 2 on the first day, and we're about a week and a half in now. Although I've never spent so much time sitting on the edge of the bath waiting for him to do stuff. He's probably had more stories read to him in the last 12 days than ever before.

MrsJohnCusack · 15/02/2007 22:46

urgh webcam

I'm not sure my MW is prepared for the fact that I'll still be as fully dressed as possible in the water
no letting it all hang out here

yes, Tuesday anytime after 11am is fine for it all kicking off.

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:47

Aah - I love that image of D. So sweet. DS is still quite diddy, so he's OK on the potty, but not really big enough to sit on the toilet, even though we've got one of those seats. And he can't even reach the little toilets at nursery. So I'm in rather closer contact with it all than I like, but still very chuffed with him.

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:47

Some sort of Victorian bathing costume for the water birth?

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:50

Nice in tartan, though you may have to lose the parasol .

JackieNo · 15/02/2007 22:52

Right guys - sorry, but I'm off to bed. Meant to go at 10, but you know how it is, you just have 'a quick look' at MN, then get sucked into something, so to speak.

MrsJohnCusack · 15/02/2007 23:15

oh sleep welL!
sorry - wandered off to do some clarinet practice
