what do you think? Lots of size 32s on here - and some v. nice evening stuff - I really like this dress and it would show off the norkage very well!

Dottydot · 08/11/2006 21:02

very glam! Love this jacket - fantastic colour!

Dottydot · 08/11/2006 21:04

gorgeous This is gorgeous!

JackieNo · 08/11/2006 21:09

OK - Simply Be have some nice stuff - dress here in pink or black, gorgeous beaded one , and another , not convinced about velour, but looks v sexy , And now I'm just going to link to page 2 (love all the ones along the bottom) and page 3 (all the ones along the top).

JackieNo · 08/11/2006 21:16

Have dottydot and I stunned you with our links, WWB?

Dottydot · 08/11/2006 21:18

what do you think?!

This site has some stunning evening dresses - some are a bit OTT for me, but I liked this one.

Dottydot · 08/11/2006 21:18

I think you should order something from every site and have a grand try on!

JackieNo · 08/11/2006 21:21

Found some more possibles. Not sure if this would work, as you're smaller on the bottom half, but a lovely sexy dress. Actually 'fashionworld' (browse the pages - more dresses on there) looks remarkably similar to Simply Be - but I'm not sure that everything's the same. pmsl at the catsuit , I'm afraid. Although it looks surprisingly OK in the pic.

JackieNo · 08/11/2006 21:22

That site's gorgeous, dottydot. Love the lace dress you linked to.

Dottydot · 08/11/2006 21:23

I know - it's sooooo glam!

WigWamBam · 08/11/2006 21:24

Oh, thank you, you have been busy

I love that black dress on your last site, dotty. Have been looking on a site called Curvy Diva which has some gorgeous stuff in really big sizes ... and dh has said I can spend some money ... he doesn't know what's about to hit him

wow!!

Fab website WWB - this is just gorgeous! You must let us know if you order stuff and give us the link to the chosen outfit!

JackieNo · 08/11/2006 21:29

Oh yes - some fab dresses on there WWB - seriously glam. Are you going to go for the full length, or shorter (I guess shorter might be more likely to be worn again - for Christmas day, maybe)?

JackieNo · 08/11/2006 21:30

Am loving the eternal beauty one.

schneebly · 09/11/2006 07:57

wow at some of those links! WWB you will be looking foxy! THink I might have get one or two little things when my student loan comes through

schneebly · 09/11/2006 08:16

have tried to e-mail WWB but hotmail is acting up! I have lost 2 lbs this week and am soooo delighted. Hope you have all had a good week. xxx

hub2dee · 09/11/2006 08:49

sorry to interrupt the fashion show dahlinks, I put on 1/2 pound at my weigh in last week after my holiday in the States and I am leaving for WW in an hour or so. Will post a loss later with a wee bit of luck and self-discipline LOL.

Wonderful news about Junior, hope all the bureaucracy goes swimmingly. I think the blog is rather well-written too... a bit like being there without the extra round of drinks when you try and leave.

lemonaid · 09/11/2006 09:22

Another update on Sue's site...

JackieNo · 09/11/2006 09:46

Have just looked - so Junior is younger than 12 months old - that has to be good, I think (from the bonding from earlier in his life point of view). I think she was expecting him to be more like 18 months or so. Bit scary to hear that he has 'health issues' - wonder what that will mean. Makes me well up every time I read her blog.

lemonaid · 09/11/2006 09:58

She said at Escale that a high proportion of the children in the baby houses do (some permanent, some fixable) -- so it's a case of having to make a very rapid assessment of the situation/prognosis and decide what you can and can't manage with.

JackieNo · 09/11/2006 10:04

Such a huge, and in some ways bizarrely unexpected, decision to have to make. Not something you expect to find yourself having to do, although I guess she's prepared for it to a certain extent by having been on courses and talked to other people who've been through it.

WigWamBam · 09/11/2006 10:35

I well up whenever I read Sue's updates as well, and I am constantly in awe of the strength of character that's allowed her to go out there and do this. The last update is so matter-of-fact about what must have been a huge decision to make.

Aaaaaaanyway, the figures ... but where is everyone? It's only Sue who's bogged off overseas, you know

DottyDot: -0.5lb (total 13lb)
Fauve: +3lb (total 12lb)
JackieNo: -3lb (total 32lb)
Schneebly: -2lb (total 2lb)
WWB: -2lb (total 14lb)

Step forward for your crown , Jackie!
