Some great losses this week Smile unfortunately I'm 10lb from goal but I'll happily go with 8lb Grin So far sticking to the no booze through the week rule but last night I was very tempted and managed another run today as the sun was shining.

Is it just me or does anyone else get weighed very first thing in the morning with no clothes on but after having a wee (every little helps Blush )? It really does make a difference as I always weigh a lb or two more in the evening!

I do my official weekly weigh after work on a Friday before the weekend kicks in!

But also jump on the scales most mornings, naked and after a wee too... I know you shouldn't weigh so often though!!

No need to be sorry, I much prefer your adding Smile I too weigh myself most mornings which is bad as my weight fluctuates daily but I just can't resist the temptation to see if I've lost.

PiggyMum, sorry I should have said I weigh (shudder with shame) 211lb. I'll be weighing myself on Monday am, and if I don't stop eating the Christmas leftovers I'll weigh more next week than I did at the start of this one! I did well on Monday, but then yesterday evening managed to somehow drink 3 glasses of wine and eat half a box of buttery biscuits :-(
Trying to get back on the wagon today, but after such failure on Day 2 I'm starting to doubt myself.

Me too! I was 14st 9.25 this am but 14st 12 according to my last weigh in... If I come in at 14st 10 on Friday I'll be made up.

I've found Friday to be a great official day as if I do go overboard and use my weeklies I then have mon-thurs to be super good / earn back with activity.

And a few of us are still ploughing through Xmas food!!

My advice is eat it but track it... I'm eating all the Xmas cheeses etc but making sure I am honest with what I've eaten.

Momb , I did much the same a few days ago but the difference this time is I didn't chuck the towel in . I got up the next day and started again , I am not going to be this fat again !

I can't do another summer in jeans and baggy tops pretending I am not hot and uncomfortable .

Total first week weight loss is 5lb here, down to 16st 10. Doing pretty well, not eating bread is helping and logging everything. Quick post on phone but wanted to say hi!

Sorry wilbury will not reveal a weight again until next Tuesday.

My long term goal is to lose 6/7 stone but that is too daunting so will start by setting a goal weight of 181bs.

I done well today, if I have been feeling hungry then I drink water instead of reaching for food. DH is on the wine but I have resisted, he is cooking pork belly for supper though but will not be having any carbs just veg, we have two pigs in the freezer so it is a question of eating what there is and just cutting down.

I am at the heaviest ever in my life, so have invented my own no crap diet Grin

started last week at 13st 10

lost 4 lbs this week so now 13 6

I also started the gym yesterday - oh my word, did a spin class, zumba today and plan another spin tomorrow [completely bonkers]

I'll read the whole thread in a bit so I know whats what etc

I prefer lemon green tea. Still chugging down the water, due to rain later so won't get my walk back down to the car park from work. And that is about it.

Morning everyone! Have just attempted the shred again so my arms are a bit shaky (from the cans of baked beans am using as weights!). Did better eating wise yesterday. The weather is so mild here at the moment, I can already see Spring coming and am so desperate not to face another warm season with nothing fitting me and seeing everyone else floating about in nice dresses!

Morning Smile.
I had a really good day yesterday, lots of really good stuff (breakfast, roast dinner with baked instead of roast spuds and lots of greens, prawn omelette with salad, no snacking) and even managed to claw back about 300 cal of the extra 1100 I ate on Tuesday night, plus I'm religiously drinking fluids so have high hopes today...and I put all the leftover christmas blue cheese in the bin (It is a waste but I am the only one that eats it so it would go off before I finished it anyway) and gave the butter biscuits to the children. A good loss in my first week would be a great motivator so I'm going to try not to cheat again.
Thanks for the fruit tea tips: I used to love it but haven't had any for years, but I'll get some as a wine substitiute.

Evening, I have had one small slip up today which was the crust of a homemade loaf of bread, I struggle to resist. Still chugging back water and tonights supper is gnocchi with a tomato and red pepper sauce and mozarella and some tenderstem broccolli.

Grrrr, bad day today! DS made tiramasu in cookery at school today so had to have some, this wouldn't have been too bad if we hadn't just had a Chinese take away. I shared a portion of mushroom foo yung and mixed vegetables with DS though so could have been worse.

Meeting a friend for coffee tomorrow, will make sure that my latte is skinny and no definitely no cake!

I've had to sack off the gym tonight. Am aching all over from going for 3 nights on the bounce!! Plus got FIL coming tomorrow night so need to have a tidy!

I've got 10 points left for today and have a ww pizza. DH is working a late shift so this will be a test for me to stay away from the crap food. I hate cooking when it's just me!
