Oh Blondes, sorry to hear that. Cars and vans are a PITA, as they just lose money all the time and break just when you can afford it. Hope you get a good bargain and DH can get out working again soon

good luck for WI too.

I'm getting a cross trainer tonight Grin its pretty shoddy, but better than nothing and will hopefully get me out of the stepper rut. Also had a look last night and because I get some housing benefit I might get a discount on a gym membership (with a creche) Am going to enquire Saturday when I drop the kids off at their Dads

Seem to be back on the food wagon. Doing Quorn Moussakka from Slimming World tonight, which looks nice and just had a jacket potato with tuna and red onion. Weigh in this morning (midweek) showed I have STS since Monday even with my mini blow out, so am hoping for a STS or even a -1 on Monday if I can stick to it in the next 3 days.

smokinaces · 17/02/2011 12:07

can't afford it

GettinTrimmer · 17/02/2011 12:23

Pretty, thinking of you today. We lost FIL last year, he was lovely Sad take care x

Quorn Mousakka sounds good smokin, I had quorn chilli last night. Was the mous easy to make?

Blondes I'm sorry to hear of the van Sad I'm sure you haven't gained.

I am sitting an exam this evening, 2nd part of my word processing. I would rather be helping at the school disco, but it updates my skills at least.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/02/2011 14:14

good luck with exam :)

and cross trainer sounds good

where is everyone else?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 17/02/2011 14:48

coooooooeeeeeeeee!
Having lunch, veggie soup, perfectly nice, but perfectly dull!

GettinTrimmer · 17/02/2011 16:05

not naughty but nice then piste, no cream cakes for you.

I don't think I'm going to lose tomorrow. I wonder if I should be on the thread, no diet mojo after several bum kickings.

I need to go and buy myself an outfit size 12, my problem is I have no goal.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 17/02/2011 16:10

I have no goal either!! I found it much easier last year when I had targets.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 17/02/2011 16:10

RIP BlondeVan

smokinaces · 17/02/2011 16:19

Trimmer, dont go!!

Had a gah moment. Halfway through making the moussaka realised I was about to use natural yogurt - and DS2 is lactose intollerant. Just rung my mum begging her to get 500g of plain soya yogurt to finish it off. Wont be as low fat but at least DS2 will be able to consume it!!

GettinTrimmer · 17/02/2011 16:40

I don't want to go smokin. I could have gained ALL the weight I lost not just half of it without this thread.

Piste, what can we do to give ourselves a goal? On the BL the guy from last year said he put on 2.5 stone straight away, pulled it back and did a marathon. He said challenges are needed, give yourself goals.

A lame excuse but I didn't go running today as I have a sore toe, my whole nail came off and another nail growing underneath. sorry if tmi.

Just a thought. You remember we were talking about a meet up? We could say get to goal/whatever before we do it.

smokinaces · 17/02/2011 16:48

a meet would be ace!!!

GettinTrimmer · 17/02/2011 16:54

Whereabouts are you smokin?

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/02/2011 17:27

Oh yes we did say we would try and meet in London didn't we :)

Kicks trimmer/pistes/Smokin bums!!!!!

Come on ladies think how well we have done since last year - the only one who got to goal was Bebe and she had the most to lose

We all have bad days but we are all here for eachother :)

One for all and all for one

smokinaces · 17/02/2011 19:14

I'm in Kent, but anywhere is fairly accessible by train Grin

Moussaka was good. HUGE amount - the recipe on slimming world website would honestly feed 4-6 adults. Will half it next time, but will make it again.

My cross trainer is here Grin Its a bit jerky, and no where near as good as the ones in the gym (which are like £1000 to buy!) but for £10 who cares?!! As soon as boys are asleep I am on it, as I really want to STS this week. Will not let this defeat me!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/02/2011 20:43

really smoking? me too :)

smokinaces · 17/02/2011 21:14

yes, up in the NW of Kent. You?!

smokinaces · 17/02/2011 21:23

Cross trainer has killed me!! Had to do 30 minutes in ten minute segments as it is such hard work! Sweating like a pig Grin good to get some different exercise though.

Its not been used for a long time though, and the belt has obviously dried out a fair bit as there are little black bits of rubber now. Have oiled it but bloody hard to get to the belt - is it wrong to have sprayed it with frylight?!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/02/2011 21:34

WK lol

smokinaces · 17/02/2011 21:38

oooh, fairly close then! where's everyone else?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/02/2011 06:31
