Suddenly feeling rubbish on MJ after months?

9 months in and I’m still only on 3.75 of MJ. I went up to this from 3.5 6 weeks ago. The first few weeks on the new dose I was fine, but the last two have been miserable. I think it is MJ related as both weeks it come on the day after jabbing and lasts 2-3 days then cleared up. I feel quite nauseous and I’m running to the loo all day and have horrific wind. I could of course drop back to 3.5 again but I was starting to get a return of food noise on that dose. Has this happened to anyone else? I could try and power through a couple more weeks, I guess. I’m just puzzled as to why it’s suddenly become an issue again (these symptoms are the reason I’ve stayed very low in the first place), but I’d had a good few months of being fine. .

Its a very common side effect of MJ. Maybe best to come off it and try something else.

Well, you will now be experiencing the highest sustained level of Mounjaro in your system, as you've reached a steady state on your 3.75mg dose. That may well be why you're experiencing some side effects where you haven't before.

The things I would try would be firstly as you've said, see if it persists after a few more weeks. Then if it does, I would move back down, either to 3.5 or maybe somewhere between 3.75 and 3.5 and see how that goes.

Is it? I’ve never heard of that before, have been worrying there was something wrong, but it def seems linked to MJ as both weeks I’ve got ill at almost exactly the same time after jabbing and also felt better on the same schedule. I know there is a temptation to assume everything is the jab, but I do think it is on this occasion.

Good point, I hadn’t really considered that as it’s such a low dose and on previous increases my side effects have disappeared by this point, not surged.

Nausea and gastric upset are common side effects of GLP1s, and are usually associated with starting using the medication, and on dose increase. You have recently increased your dose, so having side effects could be related to that. They usually settle down over time and aren't usually a reason to stop treatment.

I would just see how it goes and it may well settle down again.
