Starting Wegivy any tips or advice

I have just requested my first prescription of Wegovy infection!
Any tips or information before I start?
I have a big amount to loose so hoping this will help!

I will join one when ai actually start.. I just wanted kind of like do I need to take vitamins on top and what ones? Best sites for injecting? How bad was the side effects? Nervous but excited to start!

Side effects are different for everyone. I had some reflux and occasionally mild headaches.

I was injecting stomach. However, its now flat so will soon switch to my curvy thighs. I always lose weight there last.

Plan meals around nutrition. Sometimes I eat when not hungry. Lots of protein.
I'm taking multi vits and more recently collagen.

Your prescriber should give you lots of information about how to take the medication and how to support your weight loss whilst taking it.

There are a couple of long running threads you might be interested in posting on, depending on how much weight you have to lose. There’s a 5st or more thread, and a 10st or more to lose thread. That’s where I post the most now. The monthly starter threads are great, but when other people drop off because they’re already at their goal it can be a bit dispiriting and then the thread eventually gets abandoned!

I’m in the same boat, just filled out the form on line and waiting to collect my first prescription! I’ve a lot to lose too - ideally 10 stone, I’m so nervous about it but something has to change.

I have more than 10stone to loose..I did well on SW but came off it and put a lot of it back on!
