Has anyone started on the tablets, been happy with them but moved to jabs for convenience? If so have you had any difference in side effects?

The pills have been a revelation even on the lowest dose and I am ready to move up a dose.

However whatever I do I can’t seem to get a handle on the constipation and I’m also struggling with reflux and cramps if I have any alcohol, anything fizzy or even good high fat food like decent Greek yogurt or salmon.

if anyone has found the magic bullet for reflux is be grateful, I’m eating lots of fruit, taking psyllium, having granola, drinking as much water as I can without wetting myself (In can just about get the two litres in if I really try but I’ve got a weak bladder!).

The jabs are stronger and more effective than the pills so if you swapped over to them, you’re likely to find your digestive issues worsen. The advice is to lay off high fat or high carb foods, particularly around jab day. I can eat fatty around 5 days after jabbing without it making me feel sick.

Are you seriously overweight or just looking to drop a dress size? I wouldn’t risk swapping to the jabs unless you need to lose at least 3 stones as it probably wouldn’t be worth it for you.

I have about 5 stone to lose, I don’t mind the tablets but I’ve read that because you take them orally the digestive issues can be more significant than with the jabs

I’ve yet to have a constipation that chia seeds and flax seeds (2 teaspoons daily of each) can’t resolve. I may have been lucky but that includes post operative prescribed opiates. I do eat veg daily too.
