Like many I thought I’d take advantage of the recent offers from mmp and swap to them as a provider.
Ive bee losing weight since last Aug and now currently bmi 22.
Filled in the form, did the videos, sent my most recent Pharmulous prescription from Aug of a 10 pen and requested a move up to 12.5.
Ive had a message saying they won’t prescribe to me as I don’t weigh enough basically??
Has anyone else had this? I’m 5’8 and weigh 10.5 stone so not tiny!

Also they refer to me requesting weygovy? My order clearly states Mounjaro!!

Oh, interesting. I’m maintaining at BMI 21 and was considering switching to them to save £££.

They won't prescribe under BMI 22 unfortunately.

i’d be far too skinny at your weight (I’m same height) but I know we all carry weight differently

morbidcuriosity · 19/09/2026 09:34

Im gonna try them for my next pen, am in maintence but want to carry on.. think I will be weighing myself at night time after some pasta dinner.. im bmi 22, so the evening weigh should up me a little bit to keep them happy!

LaGioiosanotLeviosa · 19/09/2026 13:35

Well I’m far from skinny! I’m still a size 14! Apple shape with a genuinely fat tummy.
I’m not under 22 bmi either!
Ive queried it all because I think they’ve made a mistake especially as the message was talking about weygovy and im on Mounjaro! Very annoying because I’ll need to order from my usual provider in the meantime and they have my money!

I would phone MMP on Monday and see if you can get some clarification. It may be the increase in dose that is the issue, as they may think you aren't maintaining. You could give them your waist to height ratio if it shows your waist measurement to still be in the danger zone.

morbidcuriosity · 19/09/2026 14:05

5 foot 8 and 10.5 is exactly bmi 22.. so maybe they want over bmi of 22? Just a thought..

LaGioiosanotLeviosa · 22/09/2026 20:55

In case anyone interested in an update. I finally managed to get through on the phone to them (you need to keep trying) and basically the clinician had put it back in queries by accident and should’ve authorised it. So it’s been dispatched and being delivered tomorrow!
