Has anyone else experienced increasing heart rate and anxiety on Wegovy tablets?

I am currently on 9mg and my heart rate has increased massively while I've been on Wegovy tablets. My anxiety is also through the roof and I'm exhausted from not sleeping properly. I'm on the verge of quitting the tablets as I feel so bad.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar on tablets or jabs?

My best friend tried Wyvegy and was very anxious and bordering on depressed. She could see no joy in life. Had been very successful on Montjaro.

mounjaro caused severe anxiety, panic attacks and depression after just 3 doses last year. There is a Facebook group GLP recovery a lot of us with exactly the same experience

I get anxiety with mounjaro or wegovy when I don't eat enough food/calories, it's linked to low blood sugar so could you be experiencing this?

I have considered trying Mounjaro instead, but am really thinking that weight loss GLPs might not be for me.

@Catsservant I did see it noted that it could be one of the side effects but that it is not noted as an "official" side effect in any literature provided with the medicine. Although I will double check this tomorrow.
I will have a look at the Facebook group, thank you for letting me know about it. You read so much positive feedback on this forum s out it, it does seem too good to be true. I haven't exactly lost tons of weight either!

@Mysticmaiden I definitely don't have low blood sugar, and I've been eating enough calories in the day with breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've been experiencing a very high heartrate and I think that's what's causing the anxiety and exhaustion.

I had the same, it was so debilitating. I’m still on mounjaro, but it’s impossible to increase the dose as it brings on intense panic attacks - crazy how much it affects some of us

Speak to your prescriber as soon as possible rather than trying to push through this. A significantly increased heart rate alongside intense anxiety, exhaustion and poor sleep deserves proper medical review. I wouldn’t take another dose or make changes without getting advice from your clinical team, particularly as you’re feeling so unwell

Thanks for your responses @crumbssonmyface and @HaleyMorgan. The doctor has advised an ECG and blood tests. I did have a break from the tablets but have started taking them every 2 days and I don't seem to have had a recurrence of the anxiety.

I know they advise you to take it every day, but a lot of US forums state that prescribers are happy to prescribe it differently.
