Returning to Wegovy after a four week break, resume 1mg?

After a four week break over the holidays I need to return to Wegovy. I was on 1mg - should I go back to 1mg or go back to a lower dose?
I know I shouldn’t have taken such a long break but it’s so nice to be without the side effects.

If you were having significant side effects then I wouldn't jump back in at 1mg. You won't have any medication in your system at all now, so surely 0.5mg or 0.25mg would be a better place to start. If you've been 4 weeks without medication then spending 4 or 8 weeks working back up to 1mg is a reasonable time frame?

Surely it also depends on what strength pen you have or are able to order?

Whoever you order from will probably insist you start from scratch if you’ve had a four week break.

If you’re suffering bad side effects on Wegovy, it might be better to try Mounjaro as most people seem to tolerate it better?
