Boots Pharmacy for Wegovy injections

Recently I took the plunge, and two weeks ago Boots approved me for Wegovy injections. However the prescription is still not ready!

is this an issue anyone else has been having?
it’s a four week prescription, does that mean I need to be extra vigilant and order the next month like.. now??!

I would see if you could cancel the order and just choose one of the other pharmacies that can actually prescribe and deliver promptly. Unless there’s a reason you need to use Boots?

Blimey, that's rubbish. It's not like Boots are known for being particularly competitive on pricing either so if they can't even get it together in a timely way then I agree with @SilenceInside . Go elsewhere.

Boots process is shit. They are supposed to text when the order is ready, but 9 times out of 10 they don’t. So you slog into the shop not knowing if you’re making a wasted journey. I only stick with them because reordering is fairly simple and because of the advantage card points.
