I have a couple of questions about the Wegovy tablets

I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer.

First of all which companies automatically supply anti-nausea meds with the new wegovy pills? I've read a couple of posts where MNers have got some but none mentioned the supplier. My local pharmacies have always told me to speak to a GP whenever I've been nauseous with an illness, or is there a specific product I should ask the pharmacy for?

Secondly part of my over eating is using food as a treat/dopamine hit. If you stopped getting your dopamine hits from food what did you do instead? When I stopped smoking I had several plans in place for my trigger points which really helped so I would like to have something in place/distraction for the lack of dopamine. TIA

Most online pharmacies usually won't just hand out anti-sickness meds automatically unless you specifically request them during a consultation, though your GP can write a prescription for something like cyclizine if it becomes an issue.

Oh okay. A couple of posters have expressed surprise that the meds were in the package with the WLI pills.

@LittleGreenDragons you don't need a prescription for cyclizine, you can buy it from online pharmacies if you need some. You normally just fill out an online form about why you need it, before they will sell it to you.

From what I have seen, the suppliers that include things like cyclizine, or Imodium etc with the first order are the subscription or additional services type suppliers, rather than those that are general pharmacies. So, Voy, SheMed, Oushk, Juniper, Lotus, Numan perhaps although not sure which ones definitely do, or still do. SheMed definitely used to do this.

I have felt much less need for dopamine hits so haven't needed an alternative. That may be MJ related though - not sure if it's the same on Wegovy.

In terms of a dopamine hit, I have a slight Vinted addiction these days.

Voy sent me a small pack of anti sickness meds and a some for an upset stomach with my tablets.

I have a voy referral code if you’d like it.

Always worth pointed out re Voy that they charge a cancellation fee to exit their subscriptions before the last month and that their prices are expensive compared to most other providers.

LittleGreenDragons · 01/08/2026 08:43

Thank you everyone. Good to know it is only the subscription suppliers doing it.

Yes, when I was on Mounjaro I developed a shopping habit I hadn’t had before (mainly Vinted). Just started Wegovy pills and am shopping again. Thankfully I have pretty low cost tastes!

I'd ask your pharmacist or prescriber about anti-nausea medication with Wegovy pills. For the food reward habit, I found replacing it with a walk, coffee, or another hobby helped over time
