Has anyone found that Wegovy has changed their periods?
I was diagnosed with PMOS (previously called polycystic ovaries) as a young adult but was on the pill for 25 years so periods were controlled by that.
In my mid-40s my periods became incredibly heavy and then, about 2 years ago, just drifted off. I assumed I was going through menopause so just accepted that.
Ive been on Wegovy for nearly 3 months and my periods have suddenly returned. Obviously this is not necessarily a great sign and have just had an emergency ultrasound scan. I suppose I desperately hanging onto the hope that maybe Wegovy/weight loss has caused my periods to return and nothing more sinister. 🤞🏻🙏
