Has anyone had problems using a Mounjaro pen beyond four weeks?

Four weeks to use Mounjaro pen. However I can read here many of you use it for much longer by micro dosing. Has anyone had any problems with doing this?

I am currently using a pen that I’ve had open since the end of May.
Like others, I ‘microdose’ 1.25mg every other week which is helping me maintain.
no problems. No side effects. The only thing I’ve noticed is as the pen gets older I do notice it’s not as ‘strong’ so be wary of that.

I put 4mm in my earlier post, but that is not correct! My previous orders show 6mm.

Currently using a 12.5 pen for 6.25 , so 10 weeks. Then when thats done I plan on using a 10mg pen for 10 weeks at 5mg.

I’ve been using a 15mg pen since May, titrating down and spacing the doses out to 10-14 days. I’m currently on 4mg, intend to keep reducing my nail I’m at 2mg, so I should be using it at least another five or six times (🤫eek!) before it runs out. Then I’ve got a 2.5 pen that I’ll use at 1mg for a while, and see where I am then.

I've been using the same pen for 8 weeks for over a year now. I keep it in the fridge.

Me too, I use 7.5ml from a 15ml pen, mainly for cost. Been on it since April 24. No side effects and maintain my weight. I haven't noticed any drop in efficiency from longer dosing

I eke them out by buying 15 mg and only using 12mg and by getting every last drop out, eith a syringe. I think efficacy does drop a little though

To be honest, even 12.5mg didn’t seem to have any effect on me. That’s why I decided to titrate off and see if I can get the last stone off myself. I’m not feeling any different on 3mg than I was on 12.5mg, I’ve always been hungry and thought about food! The only reason I’m still using it is because I bulk bought so many pens when the price went up last year and I’m too mean not to use what I’ve bought!

Gosh RockinCara - I have so many questions but of course I won’t ask! I assume you have been using Mounjaro and that’s meant to be the best for suppressing appetite. However, you say you only have one more stone to lose so that’s positive. Good luck and stay motivated. 🙂
