I’ve never taken a GLP1 before.

Ordered the pills 2 days ago via Bolt, and received them today.
(I’m happy to send a referral link if anyone wants £40 off).

I have about 15kg to lose to reach the mid range of healthy.

I’m worried about side effects, but determined to stick at it.
I am also worried about losing the weight too quickly. I’ll be happy with 1kg a week, so will make sure to try and eat up to my calorie deficit of 1800 a day.
I weight train 3x a week, so will primarily focus on protein, and also start taking creatine daily.

I’m going to start in a multi vitamin, plus have bought some mint tea, mint imperials and crystallised ginger to munch on in case I get nausea.

If anyone else is starting soon, I thought we could share experiences and help each other through the tough bits!

I stated on Friday. I previously took monjaro for 3 weeks, and felt awful on it. I haven't had any side effects from this. I think it helps to build up slowly. I have lost 2lb so far, but I'm not going to weigh again until Friday or Saturday. I find I get fuller for longer, although that said today I have been a bit more hungry today. I think I will keep on with this for a month, then increase the dose. Depending on how it goes after that I might switch to the injections. I was just put off from my previous experience.

@Alwaystired23 i really am hoping I get no or minimal side effects. What ones were you getting on the jabs?

I’ve taken my first pill this morning. Ahh!
Now I’m out for my morning walk, and feeling hyper aware of everything my body feels, just in case I end up vomiting or feeling nauseous.

I think I’ll wait the 30 mins after taking the pill before going for a walk from now on, as I’m already desperate for a drink of water.

I’ve got a pretty slow day today, so I can chill if needs be.

When I took the injection I felt very very sick, I had diarrhoea and stomach cramps. No sode effects at all from this. Mayve a little bit of nausea first thing, but then thats normal for me.

Hopefully you will be ok! I find in the evenings I cant eat as much so may only eat 1/2 to 3/4 if my meal, and haven't been picking afterwards.

How are you getting on @Bookaholic73? I've weighted this morning and I've lost 4lb in a week, simce starting last Friday. Hope you haven't had any side effects?

@Alwaystired23 , I’ve been posting on the other Wegovy thread, so keep forgetting about this one!
Yesterday was absolutely fine. No side effects apart from being very tired.
I focused on getting in protein, fibre and water.
Took my pill at 5am with a sip of water, and went back to sleep til 7.
I don’t know if it was psychological, but yesterday I felt the suppression after a few hours of taking the pill.
I found it super easy to stick to my calorie deficit for the first time ever!
