Deliveries in the heat

I've been putting off reordering because of the heat. I'm now worried I've left it too long and they'll refuse my order.

When my pen arrives it's nearly always at room temperature, so my concern is that it will be over 30 degrees.

Has anyone had problems with the pen getting hot? Thanks

If it dispatches and arrives next day, with the packaging and ice blocks (assuming it is MJ) it is unlikely to go over 30 degrees in the packaging. Some pharmacies are doubling up on ice blocks, you could email your pharmacy and ask what they are doing.

Who are you ordering with? I’m currently using Swift Doctor, they do next day delivery with two ice packs and insulation. The ice packs are always frozen solid for me and the pen cold. Swift Doctor also allow up to 8 weeks between orders.

My order from MedExpress came without ice packs for the first time last month like they said it would, but I got an order today and it was on ice, I wonder if they’re taking the weather into consideration and will be back to normal packs when it cools down a bit?

Good to hear. Otherwise they might get a lot of returns i guess.

I had an order from Pharmalous on Friday. The ice packs were still partly frozen.

Mine arrived from medexpress on ice today.all good

Wegovy has started being sent out without. But suppliers switched back due to heat thankfully

I use Voy and my pen is next day delivery via Royal mail. Arrived on a very hot day last week (between 2 ice packs inside a wool liner as it always does) and wasn't quite as ice cold as usual but definitely still more than cold enough.

Is it possible to collect from a pharmacy or do all companies deliver to your house? I don’t want to wait in all day if I start them

My Mounjaro always comes packed in ice with advice to store in fridge.

Where are you ordering from that keeps sending pens so badly packaged that they are room temp when you get them? And why don’t you stop using them? In almost 2 years and countless pharmacies I have never had a pen arrive at room temp. I know it can and does happen, it for it to happen repeatedly is rather down to one bad pharmacy or a run of very bad luck with several.

My supplier asks you to select a day and then on the morning I get a time slot. I also have the option that it can be delivered to a neighbour.

My zava order always comes with ice packs, and wool insulation. Even in very hot weather it arrives still chilled.
