Doing jab early as going on holiday

Really annoyed with myself - should have jabbed friday but forgot so had jab today (sunday) . Am going on holiday Friday which would have been fine to jab before going but now im not sure if thats too soon? Is it better to take the pen?

Just take the pen and carry on as normal.

It’s safe to take another dose of Mounjaro as long as 72 hours has elapsed, so you should be fine to take it on Thurs

If it’s Mounjaro, if you re-read the paper instruction leaflet that comes with the pen it says that you can change the day you inject as long as it’s been at least 3 days since the last injection. If it’s Wegovy the leaflet will probably have similar advice, not sure the exact number of days but it’s likely to be similar.

I have changed my injection day many times because of situations like this.

I normally jab MJ every 6 days anyway so I’m sure that doing it on the Friday will be fine. Just don’t increase your dose.

When I went away last month, I dropped my dose by 0.5mg to ensure I didn’t get too much suppression for the first few days.
