The new Wegovey pills and side effects

I stopped taking the injections because of extreme fatigue and low-level but persistent nausea. These were all worse in the first few days after the injection. I’ve just registered to order some of the new pills, thinking that because the medication is given regularly each day, you won’t get that same surge of the drug in your system, and so presumably side effects are averaged out over the week. However, everything online seems to say that the side-effects are just as bad, but I can’t see how they could be given that at no point will you have as high a dose in you as you do in that first day or two after the injection. Does anyone know, or have any thoughts about this?

I had tiredness and constipation on the lowest dose, 1.5mg. I stayed on them for 3 months before moving up to 4mg and I’ve had nausea, occasional diarrhoea and sulphur burps since then. I have zero appetite and am thinking of moving back down to 1.5mg where I felt I had adequate suppression, looking back and at least some enjoyment of food.

On the plus side, my bloodwork is better than it has been in years, any inflammation is gone and my psoriasis has completely gone after decades.

I’ve never taken the jabs so cannot compare but from forums about the tablets, I gather the side effects are just as bad. I don’t know the science behind it.
