Switching from Wegovy to Mounjaro, did it work straight away?

Apologies if this has already been asked but has anyone experienced switching to mounjaro from wegovy. Did it kick in straight away or did you need to build up the doses?
I'm struggling on the wegovy 2.4 to lose anything at all. I was on mounjaro until Nov last year and did so well on just the 2.5 and the 5 but wegovy has frankly been not as good. I barely got any supression on lower doses and despite the fact I am eating really well and much less and drinking plenty, I've put 6lbs on this weekend. Ive basically thrown my toys out of the pram and ordered mj. The only reason i stuck with wegovy is bc it was on prescription.
Will the mj kick in straightaway Or is it going to take a while like the wegovy did. Just looking for anyone with experience to share really. I know everyone is different

I switched back to Mounjaro after Wegovy did nothing for me. My experience has been the same as the first time I started Mounjaro- took it before bed and fully effective by the next morning. I’ve just started my second month on 2.5mg and it continues to be effective so I won’t race up the doses either.

Thanks so much for your response. The wegovy has been very disappointing considering I waited so long for a prescription. I am glad to hear that the mounjaro worked effectively from the off. Are you pleased with the weightloss from your first month?
