Mounjaro for low BMI without video consultation

Please can anyone recommend a supplier for 25ish BMI who doesn't do a video consultation? I'm trying to ascertain which supplier I have the best chance with so interested to hear any experiences from the initial prescribing/consultation process, including rejections. Thank you!

I didn’t do a video consultation with Voy but it seems to be really inconsistent as to when they do them. If your BMI is 25 it shouldn’t be an issue if they do need to do one? But I’ve managed to sign up with Voy and switch to SwiftDr all without consultation.

Thanks pinefalls. My BMI may be slightly under 25, hence the reluctance to do a video consultation.

I'm curious about what PunkecitoMum got deleted for. Was it some criticism of a relatively slim person wanting to use WLIs? Honestly, while I don't mind losing a few pounds, weight loss is not my goal. It's the other health benefits I want - both physical and mental. It's a shame that slim people who have a genuine case for wanting to use Mounjaro are prevented from doing so, leading some to go down the dangerous grey market route.

I think my post was deleted because I shared a referral code for lotus. I switched to them at bmi 25 after medexpress stopped selling me because of my bmi. I only wanted to share my experience because I thought it was going to be helpful for you, but if you want to see ghosts everywhere and feel attacked for nothing that's you having a bigger problem than a few extra pounds.

voy

if you are eg 24.9 I’m sure it’s fine - just need to send a photo

I have a bmi of 22, if you can show evidence of a treatment plan from a starting bmi of 28 (in my case because of a Pcos diagnosis) or 30 you should be able to get continuation of treatment.

are you trying to start WLJ at BMI 25-ish? They

Because the majority of slim people who are willing to use the unlicensed, unregulated route are usually suffering from disorderd eating and they’re the last people who should be given access to these drugs!

Thanks for sharing the code. I didn't know they deleted for things like that; the posts I've seen that end up being deleted are generally "personal attacks."

The codes can't be posted because it's technically promoting a prescription drug.

To my knowledge it's only Voy and Medexpress that prescribe to anyone starting at BMI 25-27, as opposed to those who are switching from another provider, and it seems to be pot luck as to whether they ask you for a video call or photos. I thought I might be a bit borderline, but I hadn't realised how much difference my weight was mid afternoon with clothes compared to first thing in the morning, it put me solidly at BMI 26 which was both reassuring and a little disappointing!

Proteinpudding · 28/06/2026 16:56

Also just to add if you do mean that you're starting out rather than switching, there's a couple of threads for BMI 25-27 that you might find helpful for people sharing their experiences
