Anyone with Voy? What's the support like?

I am thinking of starting Mounjaro and am basically terrified of it. I'm thinking of going with Voy as it looks like they have some support and not just the injections.

But it's also a lot of money! If anyone's with Voy can you tell me more about their support?

It says they have health coaches - what are they like, do they ring you or is it just WhatsApp texts?

They have a community, what's it actually like? You can't see anything before signing up. Is it safe/busy/do they help you yet around it?

What's the clinical support like? Do they just give you AI shite or can you actually speak to someone?

Thanks for any help!

I‘m the same thinking of taking the plunge but terrified! Id like a subscription but no idea which provider to use - can anyone help???

I started on WLI with Voy and found the coaching really good to begin with. And then it became an AI coach, which they said you could opt out of and have a real person coach. Despite me saying repeatedly that I didn’t want an AI coach, I still got given the AI responses and it really put me off. Voy is expensive and as soon as I got down to maintenance, I switched.

I haven’t used Voy, so can’t advise on whether the things they offer alongside the medication itself are actually worth the increased cost. My instinct is that they are not. I’ve been on Mounjaro for 2 years and haven’t even had to ask a question of the various pharmacies that I’ve used.

Just looking at price, subscriptions are expensive and Voy in particular charge a cancellation fee. You can access a free community here on MN, the long running monthly starters threads and the specialist ones like the “greater than 5st to lose” or “greater than 10st to lose” ones for example.

All pharmacies have to answer clinical questions, whether that’s by email, phone, or online chat.

Also, what are you terrified about?

@WhoWhereWhatWhythanks for the reply, AI coach is disappointing. Well done for getting to maintenance hope it’s going well.

YourJollyGoose · 23/06/2026 23:07

@SilenceInsidethanks for taking the time to reply, I guess I thought a subscription service would be better for me but maybe not! I don’t really know what I’m worried about just over thinking everything.

SilenceInside · 23/06/2026 23:11

All a subscription does is tie you in to being charged every four weeks and possibly having a cancellation fee to pay if you want to cancel.

I do understand the nerves before starting. I went with Asda initially as they were a name I knew but they were expensive and I probably spent more than I needed to before I decided to change pharmacies to get a better deal.

I think that all the mumsnet threads and other social media discussions and marketing of these weight loss drugs are making people think they can’t do it themselves. Like gradually wearing people down and firmly implanting the message that it’s not your fault you’re overweight, you can’t change it yourself so here take this nice shiny new pill or injection and ps also sign away your life to us as you’ll be paying for the rest of your life if you want to stay slim!

I am considering it myself but weighing up how much of that is because of the sheer volume of marketing that’s coming my way.

I'm with Voy and I haven't noticed that there is any support, which should tell you something!
There's an app where every so often I get a notification to log my weight, and where I can see/amend my next prescription. There's some brief articles that tell you the most banal common sense stuff, some diet tips, options to log a food diary/exercise, FAQ, and I've just looked and I can arrange to join a Google meet for an online talk about plateaus - but I think that's joining to view an online presentation, it's not coaching as such (doesn't say how many other people could be on it) I can't see anything else. There's written guides about injections, side effects etc, and an AI chat function. Nothing that you wouldn't find on a Google search, all very brief and generic.

I went with Voy simply because they would prescribe to me. I don't get the impression any of the big providers are set up for much support though, I think you'd be better off going with someone inexpensive and paying a real world PT who has experience of supporting clients on GLP-1s.
