Restarted Mounjaro after a break and finding it effective again

I restarted Mounjaro two weeks ago after a break of around a year and wanted to share my experience, as I know a lot of people find themselves in the same predicament, with weight creeping on again after a break.

I used it first time round to help me lose just over a stone, I originally had two to lose on my doctors recommendation, to get close to a healthy BMI and had already lost around 1 stone of that but was really struggling to lose more. I had just been diagnosed with sleep apnoea, so I was prescribed it at a BMI of 28. I didn't have any extreme side effects, just the usual hair loss and constipation, and found it very effective, never going past 5mg.

Although I was managing to maintain, generally speaking and held my weight steady for over 6 months, Christmas, a big birthday, and a couple of holidays had seen me make small gains here and there, and I hadn't been effective in stepping in and losing it immediately (as I had promised myself I would) after each couple of pounds I gained.

So I found myself at just under 11 stone again, after being 10 for a while, and really struggling to shift it. Made the decision to try Mounjaro again, and started back on 2.5mg two weeks ago. I'm down over 6 pounds already, I feel great on it, no obvious or unwelcome side effects, apart from my old friend constipation, and there was immediate and powerful effectiveness. I wanted to share this, as I know some people have questioned if it would be as effective after a decent break.
