I've just been sent details of the pre-order and pricing from Simple Online Pharmacy for the Wegovy pill. Sharing here as I know many have been keeping an eye on this:

Did they give any comparison tables on dose effectivity compared to injections?

I think a lot of people will have been hoping they would be much cheaper.

From simply pharmacy

All comes down to effectivity. if 25mg pill is as effective as 7.2mg injection (unlikely I would think) good deal. But lower doses seem very similar price for more inconvience.

From what I’ve read, the 25mg dose tablet is meant to be roughly comparable to the 2.4mg injection.

Unless other pharmacies pricing is lower, might take a while for pricing to settle down.

Also saw yesterday the new 7.2mg Wegovy pens have arrived. They are now being sent as a set of 4 x 1 week pens with internal needle (like US style pens). Use each one once then bin.

Assume it is to make part dosing more difficult.

I am not sure that pen would even work on my soft squishy stomach now. I have to press in quite far before it the needle penetrates the skin now.

Chemist 4U showing prices - lower doses cheaper but 25mg more expensive than Simple.

Though I guess they will complicate it all by having different discount codes instead of straight up pricing. Maybe igovy will start showing prices soon.

Both Swift Doctor and Oushk have posted this morning to say prices have not been released for Wegovy pills yet.

If true and other pharmacies are perhaps guessing to get early orders there might be some shifts when novo does release pricing , but Oushk did say based on rybelsus prices they expect them to start around the £95 mark, so not much different from prices above.
