Have you missed delivery from DPD?

For various unforeseeable reasons I might miss my DPD delivery tomorrow. It’s says they won’t leave it - has that been everyone’s experience? Does anyone know what happens to it? Do they just try again tomorrow?

They left my monjaro on my doorstep. I live on a main road in a rough area so was very lucky I was only in the loo when they came.

I only use suppliers who use royal mail now.

They normally leave it, but didn't last weekend so it went back with Dpd for another 24 hours. It was still cold thankfully but I wouldn't have been happy if it was a hot week

Yes, I live rurally too with a long drive and the DPD guy usually leaves the package on top of the gates pillar that’s nearest the house.

What do your other delivery drivers normally do?

DPD always deliver to my safe place (shed), but all of the couriers do here

They always leave it but the notes for this package specifically say it can’t be left. I don’t know whether they adhere to that though - sounds like it’s a bit hit and miss. I’ll leave a note - we have the same people doing the rounds mainly so perhaps they will leave it

They have no problem leaving stuff normally but my WLI specifically says it can’t be left so I wasn’t sure

I've changed my delivery day to a day earlier as I am more likely to be in that day. I think that they've decided that Wegovy need not be chill-packed or kept in a fridge now, so I'm happy that was my drug of choice.
