Has anyone tried Wegovy and how did you find the results?

I've just put an order in for wegovy (0.25mg), Put in an unflattering photo of myself in the tightest of clothing 😂

Current weight: 185 pounds
Height 5'3.

Desired weight:131 pounds, which was my weight before having another 2 babies, I was at my happiest weight wise.

I've got a few excercises lined up on my VR headset for when I can and a few wrote down that's effective, the reason why I've chosen jabs mainly because in the last 3 years I've struggled to lose any form of weight I have wrote a thread last week about my weight struggles and although I was against the weight loss jab for awhile I've caved, weight loss jabs was the last resort, I'm very sweet toothed which doesn't help and I get a small window to exercise as I'm mostly working or entertaining my children. I'm not saying this is a quick fix but if it contributes I'll be more than happy.

Has anyone else used wegovy?, how did you feel on it?, when did you start seeing results?. I'm intrigued and wanting as much information as possible. I've watched a few helpful videos but id also like opinions positive and negative.

thank you 🌼

If you don't get an answer it's worth looking back on this section as it gets asked fairly regularly.

Thank you, I keep checking on mine but I've seen a few threads similar to my questions, going to make time this afternoon have a look, I've been approved for it so I should have it around Tuesday I'm nervous obviously.

Some people do find it really helpful. Others seem to find it less helpful than MJ.

3flyingducksarrive · 07/06/2026 10:51

Works for me and MJ did nothing! It does appear that MJ is a 'better' medication for most people but Wegovy is a reasonable choice.

Nodwyddaedafedd · 07/06/2026 10:58

I lost a lot on MJ, but also was very tired and lost all my hair. Came off and put 50% back on. Went on Wegovy - now on 1mg and truthfully I haven't lost any weight but it has shifted around somewhat. Interestingly I do notice that my glucose levels are balanced and I have some autoimmune symptoms which have improved whilst I'm on the jabs. (Whichever one!) I feel better on Wegovy - minimal side effects and still able to have enough energy to exercise. For me id probably be happier to stay on Wegovy simply for those reasons. Hopefully as I go up the doses I'll lose but it feels more achievable long term.

Yeah I hear MJ a lot from people, it's the price that gets me but if it's a must then for sure I'll try it but I'm hearing better results from wegovy also and with it not being as expensive I thought I'd give it a go first.

Just started 2 weeks ago & getting great results on 0.25mg

Apparently if you’ve never taken WLI then most people find wegovy works well, less so if you are used to Mounjaro

switchname · 07/06/2026 22:38

I’ve lost 22% of my body weight on Wegovy since September 2025, so it’s been successful for me. I’ve got another kilo to go until I’m at my goal weight.

smallsilvercloud · 07/06/2026 22:42

I had very quick results on the 0.25g within I’d say 6 weeks I’d lost 2 stone but then it really slowed down, even though I’ve gone up to 1mg not much is happening. I would ideally like to lose another 1.5 stone.

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 07/06/2026 22:57

I’ve been on it since November and lost 40lbs, somewhat slower loss than friends on MJ, however I haven’t got a lot of loose skin or what they call ozempic face, whether or not this is related I don’t know, I am type 2 diabetic & my blood glucose level is now normal and my side effect of occasionally feeling nauseous subsided quite quickly, I am now on 2.4ml & very happy with my progress, the other side effect that only really kicked in after about three months is I now have no interest in drinking alcohol which has helped my weight loss no end. I also have a lot more energy and I exercise more.

cafenoirbiscuit · 07/06/2026 23:45

Week 10 here, on 0.5 and 11lbs down. A bit of nausea once a week, but generally ok.

StupidCanadianWolfBird · 08/06/2026 00:36

I’ve lost 2 and a half stone on it in 4 months and I’ve only gone up to 0.5 mg so far. I had some nausea for the first week or two but after that’s I’ve not had any side effects

BreakingBroken · 08/06/2026 05:36

Week 7, stayed on .25.
I’m nearing 20lb loss.
Zero side effect, just a pleasant comfortable satiated nothingness. If I’m busy I have zero food thoughts.
I’m logging my food, doing my best to get in my protein, fiber and water. Walking as my main exercise and doing some cardio with light weights.

plasticplate · 08/06/2026 06:10

Have been on it for 5 months and have lost 36 lb. Weight loss has been pretty steady. I am now on 1.7 and am not planning to increase this. Since I been on it I have had a preference for plainer food and lots to drink since I get thirsty quickly. Some side effects (burping and mild stomach discomfort ) but they have been manageable.
