Anyone who has gone back on Mounjaro after a break

I’m just about to restart mounjaro. I was on for about 18 months, lost 7 stone and have been off since January this year.

I originally got down to well below my target weight to a bmi of 20, but started regaining as soon as I started titrating down, which was in sept last year.

I’m now approx 9lb over that weight and about 5lb off my ideal weight and a current of bmi 22.5. Just really struggling to maintain my loss and miserable all the time. I have been approved with Swift for maintenance but want to lose those additional few pounds and wondered if there was anyone else in a similar position who would like to share their experience/journey?

Specifically wanting to know what weight loss has been like on 2.5 with a healthy bmi and what to expect in terms of suppression etc.

Thank you!eei

I’ve gone back on it twice after coming off and struggling to maintain my weight - the first time I went back on I did 2.5 then 5, the 2.5 didn’t have a huge effect but once I got back to 5 (the highest I’d ever gone anyway) it worked again and I lost what I needed to lose. Came off it again due to finances and I was ok for a few weeks but started eating more again and bingeing sugar, now back on 2.5 but hasn’t had much effect yet (one week in). Very mild suppression but not surprising really. Looking forward to it building up again and allowing me to drop these pounds. I can’t afford to be on it forever so I do need to really try learn long term habits this time.

I stopped because of the price hikes but actually only took my last jab a few months later because I had a stock pile.
But in the grand scheme of things money isn’t an issue, I can afford to be on this for as long as I keep my job(!) but I really didn’t want to. But here we are.

My DH doesn’t get it, he thinks I’m slim, I’ve stayed slim so job done. He’s never been obese or suffered food noise he doesn’t understand how hard it is. Or just the minuscule amount of food needed to maintain the weight I want to maintain.
