Has anyone made a successful transition from Mounjaro to Wegovy?

Interested in hearing from those who started out with Mounjaro, and then moved to Wegovy.
I’ve loved Mounjaro and have done pretty well, but the appetite suppression could be better. I’m on 15 mg and have been for ages.
I’m not sure if Wegovy would work for me but as it’s cheaper, maybe nothing to lose by trying.
Thoughts, please?

I am in a similar position as you. Did really well on mounjaro, lost everything I wanted to up to 15mg. Stayed the same for a good year but eventually the appetite suppression dropped and I gained a stone back ( bmi back up to 22). My supplier advised I started injecting into the back of my arm. The difference was crazy. I was really ill the first week with diarrhoea but it’s settled now and I’ve just got good suppression and have started losing weight again. I don’t think wegovy will help as it’s not as strong as 15 mg mounjaro

Did MJ for 10 months and lost 4 stone. Stopped for 2 months and put a stone back in. Switched to WV and honestly up to 1.7 now. It’s doing nothing for me at all. Got a pen of MJ ready to start back next week. It’s a tirzepatide pen so cheaper the branded MJ

@Garfieldloveslasagnepie are you in the UK? If that’s the case, there are no generic Tirzepatide pens available legitimately here. It will be a black market illegal product that is not subject to a quality control, regulations, and so on. It could contain anything, impurities, bacteria, a totally different medication…

Hmm, very interesting. Thanks everyone. I too haven’t heard of much - or indeed any! - success with Wegovy. Even my pharmacist says that Mounjaro is the far superior drug.

I started Mounjaro in December and am I a thread with people that started Wegovy at the same time and we’ve lost the same.. 3 stone.
