Anyone increased weight loss injection dose briefly during maintenance?

I’ve been on 5mg since October and lost the majority on that dose, and the food noise is definitely back, I’m in maintenance and have struggled to keep within maintenance calories for the last month, I’ve put on a pound so somehow managing to stay but it’s very hard. I do have a 7.5mg pen, I don’t want to formally move up forever but wondered if trying 6.25 or 7.5 would help for a bit then try moving back down to 5mg again.
maintenance is hard; I would like to eventually come off but it’s becoming harder. Has anyone temporarily increased?

I think most of us will be on it for life, people I know who have come off have put the weight back on but even on maintenance dose it’s really hard, but then of course it is, that’s why we couldn’t lose weight in the first place.
I’ve accepted that I’ll be on it for life, but it worries me that I’m reading more and more that peoples bodies are getting used to even the high doses and food noise coming back while on them.

It is worrying, I’ve never gone above 5mg and the idea of taking higher than what I did to lose it to sustain maintenance makes me feel uneasy esp as I want to move down eventually to 2.5mg. Doesn’t make sense in my head but I’m now struggling. These drugs are still new for weight loss too. I’ve read posts where 15mg isn’t working anymore for some so what’s the answer then? Difficult one..

I am 5 months into maintenance and it is a complete shift in mindset.

For me, I know if I start slipping into certain bad habits again (regular snacking, regular sugar etc) it quickly spirals into "food noise", over consuming calories and then it will be weight gain and I have to rein it in again. Once I get back into a low carb/low sugar/no snacking routine I am good again, but there is an element of self sabotaging in there.

I know I need to treat my obesity as a chronic disease that is currently in remission and needs managing FOREVER 🙁 but it is so dull sometimes and knowing is much easier than doing!

I’ve just gone up to 12.5mg on maintenance.

Once I got to target on 15mg, I titrated down to 5mg. Usual symptoms started to reappear so have had to keep climbing up.
