Hi! I’ve started a 2.5 mounjaro dose today, and I was wondering - does anyone have a particular supplement regime they follow since starting WLI? I’ve had a google but the info varies…anyone like to share their regime?

I have been on MJ for year and take a range of supplements.

Well guard My journey
Well guard Gut star
Collagen powder, also by well guard
Creatine (any brand that is on offer). I take this every day and now do exercise every day but didn't to start with
Skin fuel, also by well guard. Not for MJ but think it's great for my skin
Rheal Clean Greens - a powder that I like the taste of (mixed with lime and sparkling water)
Biotin
Multi vitamin
I take fibre supplements but not every day and have had occasional constipation and taken Wild Dose to help with that
Currently taking 1000mg vitamin C also

As I come off MJ I plan to scale back. I think these have helped. I don't have many side effects and my general health has been really good. I have only been hit by one bug from the kids.

In anticipation of more “collagen is essential “ posts- it is expensive protein that your body will turn into amino acids like-what-it-does-to-egg/tuma/steak/chicken . It will not make a bee-line to your face/skin.

No, I just eat better foods now. People seem mad for supplements but I have never felt I’m lacking anything.

I take multivitamins anyway and iron, but since MJ I have also started having electrolytes, chia and golden flax. I researched lots of other things and decided I didn't feel the need. I eat a better diet than previously - minimal carbs / sugar, more protein and veg. I'm feeling good.

Multivitamin (have always taken this)
Cod liver oil (seems like a good idea. Fishy burps can make me feel a bit sick, though)
Physlliam husk (staving off poop issues)
Vitamin B12 (anecdotally, there can be absorption issues so I thought whacking in a bit more might help)
Vitamin D (have always taken this)

Thanks everyone. I’ve heard a few mentions of biotin, to help prevent hair thinning so that’s a definite for me!!

A word of warning - I took too many supplements containing caking agent and caused myself fairly serious constipation so keep an eye on that

BreakingBroken · 02/06/2026 20:46

i have been taking these prior to wli
a multivit geared towards women
a suppliment towards bone health
i take 1/2 the recommended amount because i believe i eat a good variety of foods (and as per my nutrition app do meet most of my goals)
however i have been taking some amount of a protein and fiber shake daily.

I keep things quite simple. Since starting Mounjaro through my medical service, I’ve focused on drinking more water, eating balanced meals and getting enough protein. The progress tracking and check-ins have been helpful for keeping me accountable without overcomplicating things.
