been on MJ for 18+ months and lost nearly 5 stone.

its bloody lovely to no longer fret about what to wear to the office in a heat wave.

arms out, jacket off, wiggle it all about.
it’s still hot but I feel free 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

anyone joining me?

Mezzoprezzo · 26/05/2026 21:32

Yes! Such a good feeling. I'm wearing shorts for the first time in 30 years!

Spaghettioverload · 26/05/2026 21:33

Congratulations on the weight loss! Are you still on the jabs now? How much does it cost each month?

KnewYearKnewMe · 26/05/2026 21:38

@cobblers00👏👏👏

Thanks @Spaghettioverload
yes - still on them - got another stone to lose officially but very happy with where I am.

re: price - I’m still on 12.5mg so that’s around £280-ish a month, although I get at least 5 weeks from it. Pricey but worth it to me xxx

are you considering?

I've lost 3 and a half stone and reached goal a couple of weeks ago. I'm going on holiday to Greece on Friday and just started packing. I could cry with happiness, my case is full of clothes I would never have dreamt of wearing 7 months ago. All 3 sizes smaller. Close fitting tops instead of tunics, playsuits, skorts, tailored shorts, mini dresses and skirts. And belts, never been able to wear belts. Mounjaro has literally changed my life as I'm sure it has for so many people. Last holiday back in September I deleted every photo dh took of me. Now I can't wait to have my photo taken 😃 in all my lovely new clothes.

I am very conflicted. Someone on here earlier illustrated perfectly the issue with fad diets. You get stuck in the cycle of binging and restricting.

I feel anti drugs for weight loss as I’m scared of the cost and side effects. Yet my weight bothers me so much, purely for cosmetic reasons.

I lost several stone in the past through a restrictive diet and kept it off for years; every single day was a battle against food noise. The clothes made it worthwhile. After some stressful life events I regained.

Now the minute I Iose a couple of pounds I automatically self sabotage. I also can’t stop emotional eating. So I’m totally stuck. I don’t know if the drugs would help with this.

Thank you, it really is an amazing feeling. Now wearing clothes I want to wear and not what I have to wear.

Well done on your weight loss and good luck with losing the last stone.

They would, but only in conjunction with some therapy I’d say. It sounds like you have lots of emotional issues connected to your weight. Until you unravel those the WLI will only serve as a sticking plaster. Good luck x
