Help! Who will provide me with a new maintenance plan?!

I started MJ with Numan back in September 2024. I subscribed for a year, but actually used for longer as I was using 5th dose counting clicks etc, so I had a few pens stockpiled in the fridge. I stopped injecting earlier this year after I reached my target weight. Unfortunately my weight has been creeping up since then. My current BMI is only 25.1, but I can see where this is going and I really don’t want to go back there. I want to continue on a maintenance dose but Numan don’t offer that. I’ve just gone through the approval process with voy, submitted photos, ID etc all fine then they have asked for a photo of one of my previous prescriptions - but is needs to be dated within 8 weeks! The most recent prescription I have is dated from September 2025. So I’ve been refused.

has anyone been in this situation? Are there any companies that will accept an older prescription? I really wish now I’d got this sorted as soon as my Numan prescription ended 🤦🏻‍♀️

I don't think you will get any pharmacy to prescribe anything other than 2.5mg with an eight month gap for the most recent prescription.

And if you stopped injecting earlier this year you do need to start again on 2.5mg anyway. What's the issue? Pharmalous will prescribe with BMI of 25 and proof that you have been on MJ previously. But obviously will only give you 2.5mg pen.

2.5 would be fine, my aim is to maintain really so I’m hoping I can do that on 2.5 or 5 tops.

Are providers prescribing for BMIs over 25 now?! I’ve clearly been out of the loop for a bit as that definitely wasn’t the case when I started with Numan.

Monj has a list of pharmacies who will prescribe to returning/ maintenance patients. At least some of them will prescribe within a year of stopping, which you have with your prescription from September last year.

Once you get your new pen from a maintenance friendly pharmacy you can shop around again for best prices. 😉

Just remember to tick the box saying you're not new to MJ. If you missed that, it could be why you've been refused.

Pharmulous or Swift Dr are good options to begin with.

Put the image of nomen receipt in chat gpt and ask it to change date. Sorted.

I've read that providers are using tools to check if photos have been AI edited, it's not difficult to do so I'd be wary of this.

@ProfessionalPirate Voy and Medexpress advertise that they will prescribe off label for 25-27, though I've heard of clinicians still refusing for medexpress and saying it's 27+. You could try again with Voy as a new subscription though. I don't think anyone will allow you to 'switch' if the last prescription was that long ago.

I literally just did it with cloud and juniper it worked! Went with cloud as cheaper

Swift will let you order it it’s less than a year but the first pen will be 2.5mg. Not a big deal the second one can be 5mg. I’ve been using them for maintenance and they are excellent. You can have a 7 week gap to order 5mg or up or a year’s gap to order 2.5mg.
