There may already be a thread on this. But I am interested to know if anything that is not directly linked to the number you see on the scale that has changed for the better since taking the jab.

I have a few like my cholesterol level decreasing and no longer being in the HBa1c category for diabetes or even or even prediabetes. It’s now 35 was 80. But this weekend I met up with family and friends for my daughter’s hen. My sister was there who I haven’t seen for a year. She looked at me and asked me if I had had a boob job as my figure looks amazing. I haven’t had one but now I have a waist so my bust is more noticeable. I haven’t gone from a 44DD bust with a 40 inch waist to a 32D bust and a 28 inch waist. It made me smile as at 61 a lot of my appearance is getting older and less appealing for my own sister to assume I had paid for my figure did make me smile

share your non scale victories too pleas

My garden is getting a makeover and not looking like weed city!!! Previously my weekend afternoons were built around going to a pub now I find them a waste as I ate 1/7 th of a meal and take the rest home so instead I’m outside in the garden giving my garden a long overdue makeover with the help of ChatGPT…. Much better use of my time and money

No more sore feet or swollen ankles! I can get out of the bath without rolling over and Ithe water covers me now! I can cross my legs and I actually have a lap now. I can get up and down off the floor and do my bra up behind me instead of swivelling it round.
I get so much pleasure out of nice clothes again and getting dressed on a lovely hot day is actually a happy experience now. Before, when I was 6.5 stone heavier, I would be trying on everything getting more and more depressed. It’s so liberating! I take care of my skin now and I feel 20 years younger.

I can wear a dress and no longer need anti chaffing shorts underneath! I only discovered this today 😃

I’m about to start MJ.

I have psoriasis which impacts my skin and joints. I’ve heard WLI help with inflammation so I’m excited

HollywoodTease · 25/05/2026 20:54

I don't have to ask for a seatbelt extender when I fly now 🙂

Carpal tunnel has gone, nerve and tendon pain and swelling in feet and ankles have gone, fibroids have shrunk(!)
Make up stays put for longer as I’m nowhere near as sweaty, clothes shopping and putting outfits together is fun again.
My fitness, flexibility and mobility have all improved

Overtheatlantic · 25/05/2026 21:03

Strangest thing but my earlobes have shrunk. 😆 I can now wear a pair of gold hoops that used to cause pain. I guess it’s lack of inflammation?

Overtheatlantic · 25/05/2026 21:04

When I say shrunk I mean they used to be fat and had a pronounced crease.

Thornrose · 25/05/2026 21:05

Agreed, clothes shopping is a pleasure again downside, I'm spending way too much 🤭

I jump out of my seat instead of hauling myself up. I get on hands and knees to pick something up and get up again easily.

I was going on a first aid course pre weight loss. You needed to be able to get on the floor to do CPR. I was panicking as I couldn't easily do that. Now I can.

I went to the beach for a swim today. I felt confident and didn't care who saw me in my swimsuit.

Somethingsnapped · 28/05/2026 17:36

I can sprint again!!

PivotPivotmakingmargaritas · 28/05/2026 18:06

Today I was finally able to see my C section scar!! Sounds weird I know but I’ve never known if I had one due to my apron belly ( it’s still there just getting smaller - apron belly I mean) and my daughter was born four years ago

Housewife2010 · 28/05/2026 18:12

I never wear trousers, so wear opaque tights all winter. This year after losing 5.5 stone they never seemed to wear out. Before I'd be regularly replacing my m&s extra large ones because they would wear out at the crotch. This year I've worn the large & finally after a winter of the same 6 pairs, a couple have finally started to wear thin at the heels or toes. I haven't had to replace them after buying them in September!

Theringcycle · 28/05/2026 18:30

I’m only 4 months in / 13kg down but I am tolerating the very hot weather SO much better.
