How to get 10mg dose from 15mg pen?

I should probably be able to work this out for myself but I can’t. I’ve been on 15mg for almost 2 weeks and I can’t tolerate it - awful side effects. I’d like to drop down to 10mg (I was on 12.5mg for a while but my side effect might’ve started a bit on that). I really don’t want to waste the rest of 15mg pen - how can I get 10mg doses from it? I have little syringes at home I can use - would I withdraw 4ml instead of 6ml for a 10mg dose? Or I know people count clicks, which sounds harder.

A full dose is 0.6ml or 60 clicks. So a 10mg dose from a 15mg pen = 10/15 x 0.6ml. This is 0.4ml or 40 clicks. The pen will stop after about 240 clicks so if you count clicks for some doses you may still need to use a 1ml syringe to get a 0.4ml dose for the final doses.

40 clicks is easy to do - count them once slowly then mark in the window with a sharpie for the next dose. Or 0.4ml (40 units) instead of 0.6ml with a syringe. Clicks is easier imo but either works easily.

When you’re twisting the dial, it will line up to the 1 after 20 clicks. Do that twice and you’ll be at 40
or 10mg from your 15mg pen.
