Will new pens without the bonus dose work in the same way re clicks per dose?

With the new pens coming out, minus the bonus dose, will there be any difference in any other way?
I'm about to start a new pen, 5mg, and I am going to do 45 clicks as advised on here, to get 3.75mg. Does anyone know if this will be the same system with the new pens? I'm about to look but I'm guessing the pen I'm about to start is still one of the old ones.

All that’s different is the amount of medication that the pen is filled with, they just put less in. There’s an additional plastic spacer on the plunger section as a result, but that’s the only other physical difference. It’s still 0.6ml per dose, or 60 clicks. You will still be able to do 45 clicks for a 3.75mg from a 5mg pen.

I was hoping you would answer @SilenceInside as I know you know your clicks! I just wondered because I saw something where you could check how many clicks you need and it asked if you had the old or new pen so I wondered why.

Yeah I wonder why, as it doesn’t make a difference to the normal 4 x 240 clicks, as they are still available. It’s just the “5th” dose that won’t exist, and you wouldn’t be using a click count to access that anyway.

It was from the monj site - maybe I'm misunderstanding it. There's a bit where you click to choose which pen it is.

It’s not clear from the interface, but the choice of old or new style pen only affects the “doses per pen” calculation that’s shown and only if you tick the “include 5th dose” tick box. It’s a little odd to include that, given that you can’t access that 5th dose medication via counting clicks, but I can kind of see why they’ve included it.
