Anyone had tingling after a first Mounjaro injection?

Has anyone experienced this?

About 6 hours after my first injection of Mounjaro I was getting tingling in my hands and feet…not as strong as pins and needles. No swelling, weakness etc and nothing that stopped me doing normal activity. They’ve lasted about 24 hours and are now just about gone.

Tingling isn’t listed in the side effects but Dr Google suggests other people have experienced it.

i wanted to see if others have had the same and how long it lasted? It freaked me out a bit as I was worrying it was an allergic reaction at first!!

Speak to your provider. Presumably they provide medical support? I’ve never heard of this as a side affect so you should report it.

Yes - in my upper arm. Every time. Didn’t last as long though. Been on them for a year.

Yes I should have said, I have spoken to them. They’ve said it’s not listed as a common side effect but they have had reports of other users having them…I just wondered whether others had experienced similar even though it’s not listed as an effect

You should submit a Yellow Card report at the MHRA.
