Has anyone received a new style pen yet?

And if so what dose was it and who did you order it from? Just wondering how long the new pens will take to filter through the system.

I just got a 5mg pen from zava, it’s the old style.

There's a useful thread on Reddit collating any experiences with the pen design change in the UK, conclusion so far is no, no confirmed sightings of any new pens.

The Reddit thread is reporting one from Lotus too, also 5mg. Looks like they are starting to circulate now.

So i reckon they have received new pens.
Going forward customers may receive either version of the pen.

Yeah love the way they are saying its no big deal when in reality it makes our meds 25% more expensive! I am planning to mitigate somewhat by ordering the next strength up and counting clicks (extracting via syringe when the pen no longer allows this)

I had a new style 5mg from Bolt this week

I just received new 5mg pens from simple online pharmacy. They sent the warning out about 6wks ago but my last order was still the old pen. This current order is the new pen 😣

Are all strengths moving to the new pen?

Now you only get 4 doses instead of possible 5 doses. For those who used the golden dose!

I’ve just received two old style 7.5mg pens from Cloud Pharmacy. Expiry dates Feb 2027 and March 2027.

I’m going to order a 10mg pen shortly, which will take me to goal. Then a 15mg pen to count clicks for maintenance!

I’m annoyed they’ve taken away the golden dose after the massive price increase last year (I only started on 28th Dec) and can’t believe how much more expensive it is now.

I meant how counting the clicks work. What do you need to count to?

A full dose is 60 clicks, so you could choose to alter how many you do. Just to say all medical providers say not to do this, so it’s a personal decision.

There are conversion charts available online showing how many clicks for each pen strength.

Someone on the ‘expiry dates’ thread said they got a 5mg new style pen from Mayfair weight loss clinic, expires 05/27

STILL only 3 doses in the new one! I’ve rung the company countless times complaining and all they do is log it

You don’t get 4 doses though!!! Not even 3.5 even using a needle and syringe getting the little bit out! It’s been confirmed by my specialists I’m not getting a full dose on week 4 which is affecting my sugar levels

@Nearly50omg the new pens still have over 240 clicks (i believe around 250/260 but might be wrong as haven't counted myself) so you have the 4 full doses of 60 clicks and several clicks for priming. Do you over-prime? I tend to need 3 or 4 clicks the first time I use a pen, then only need 1 click for the other 3 doses, so that gives me plenty to work with, but I know some people prime a lot more which could lower your final dose.
