Could I have honest reviews and experiences on going on Wegovy as a genuine overweight woman please?

My bmi is over 40, been doing crash dieting all my life pretty much and never been able to fully lose the weight and keep it off. Tried mj last year for 2 months and it made me horrendously ill so I came off it, and now I'm still a big, if not bigger.

Absolutely hate myself, always been a big girl, currently around 18st at 5'5 and just feel humongous and ugly, but I just cannot seem to do the weight loss myself.

I'd love to hear honest experiences from women who've used wegovy please? People who have used it who were genuinely overweight as I know a lot of people go on these jabs when they actually aren't eligible.

My main fear is the side effects, mj made me feel sick all the time, diarrhoea, constipation etc and I hated it.
Thank you 🖤

Been on it since Jan (haven’t used MJ). Losing slowly but happily, minimal side effects. Started out about 17.5st, now closer to 15.5

I was on mounjaro for almost 2 years.

Switched the wegovy January for cost because I am maintaining.

I didn't finish the month and going back on MJ. WG made me horrifically depressed and anxious. All my motivation was gone. My ADHD symptoms became worse.

Sorry to say, WG did not work for me, and the cost of MJ is worth it.

18 months ago when I started wegovy I was almost 19 stone, I'm also 5 foot 5. Today I'm 10 stone 10.

I've had minimal side effects, a bit of nausea when I first started/upped the dose but didn't last long.

It's not been particularly quick but I'm ok with that. The only downside is that I'm constantly having to buy new clothes 😄quite enjoying buying a size 12 though 😁
