Where to buy Mounjaro

I have taken the decision today that I want to start Monjaro. I have a BMI of 32.5, i am 51, struggled with my weight all my adult life and i know I am never going to improve.

I just do not know which pharmacy to buy from. I want something registered and accountable. Where do you suggest? The cheapest, the better but I want real doctors.

Real doctors? So you want an actual doctor rather than a pharmacist? Might be better to try a private doctor then, are you wanting to micro dose? Don't know why you'd want a doctor, rather than a qualified pharmacist, all of the pharmacies on the monj website are legitimate and are inspected regularly, but crucially the stuff they prescribe is all the same. So unless you're wanting some kind of tailored experience click on the cheapest and and away you go, because the 2.5 from the cheapest clinic is the same 2.5 from the most expensive, there's a weird logic from some people I've spoken to who pay through the nose to get it from places like boots because they think it's somehow a superior quality, it's not, it's exactly the same product as the cheapo pharmacy on monj. with the 50£ discount.

Sorry of course I meant a prescriber pharmacist.

You're fine with the website @madcatters linked to then as they're all legitimate pharmacists. I went with Asda first because I knew the store and that it was legit, then found the website and switched to save.

Is it reasonable to buy different doses from different pharmacies according to the price?

Yes, I stayed on 2.5mg for over a year and shooed around to maximise discounts

It is, but you can't just randomly buy a 15, eg. as I'm sure you know, you have to have gone up the doses and prove that you are on this dose presently by photographing your box with the date visible.

PearlsTeapot · 02/04/2026 18:38

Yep I switched pharmacies every month to get the best discounts.

LakeFlyPie · 10/04/2026 21:37

How do you switch each month? Do you need to provide information about your last prescription / order?

SilenceInside · 10/04/2026 21:40

@LakeFlyPie you just fill out the online consultation form and one of the questions will be are already taking a weight loss treatment, and if so, which one and what dose. They should then offer you the same dosage, or one higher/lower. When you provide your usual photo id/video etc you will also need to upload evidence of your previous prescription. That can simply be a photo of the prescription label on the pen box, as it shows your name, the date, the dosage etc.
