Trying wegovy after montjaro - inflammation.

I came off montjaro last year after I reached a weight I was happy with- and the price went up. One of the most noticeable side effects ( apart from the return of the dreaded food noise…) was the return of my bowl issues and joint pain which had largely disappeared thanks to montjaro.

6 months on and I’m looking to restart for a few months for maintenance and I’m keen to see if I can replicate the other benefits. Has anyone else who has experienced a reduction of inflammation on montjaro switched to wegovy? And if so have you noticed any differences in the positive ‘side effects’?

Hoping I don’t have to stretch to MJ as I really can’t afford it.

Wegovy does offer anti inflammatory benefits but they are stronger on mounjaro, you can only try and see if it works for you personally.

I switched from mj 10mg to wegovy 1.7mg for 3 months and I was in a lot of abdominal pain, ibs returned and inflammation, was really bloated and gained 2.5lbs in the last month and also had muscle aches. I actually had good suppression and satiety for 2 months until it wore off. Switched back to mounjaro around 6 weeks ago and and lost 6lbs since then incl 3lbs in 3 days and all side effects gone. I'm never switching back or coming off.
